Since I’ve done it as a guest lecture twice already, integrating music technology into the 6-12 instrumental/choral music curriculum.
Probably also the benefits of demonstrating musical concepts through Max/MSP, but that’s V.J. Manzo’s niche and I don’t want to step on toes.

As a teacher who went through this in my district, there *were* opportunities and experiences our students had after school consolidation that did not exist before. There were also school culture changes that became an immediate issues. That was with only 2 schools closing. 27 is a lot!
Move 2.0 may have gotten less attention, but this is big: Audio Tracks for live audio processing and some warping, too. That's in addition to Link Audio, Erosion, and Pitch Shifter. Move owners can try this beta just by connecting to a computer.

I’ve been cooking more and have been trying to use the Instant Pot we were given. Some of these recipes are crazy. Sauté things in the pot, remove them, sauté something else, put in a trivet, put a pan on top with ingredients.

It wasn’t until grad school that I got to engage with learning on commercial music, music tech, music philosophy, and world music. I enjoy all of these things much, much more than spending months on a marimba piece which is required because I also play drum set.
All you people doing the fun five classes in college thing but as a music performance major it was basically five years of just playing music solo, playing music together, talking about music, and listening to music. I often think about how much time was invested in something I do so little now.
