Very few countries other than the USA have Tomahawk missiles. Following Demented Trump's accusation that another country provided Iran with them, will Albanese categorically state that Australia did not provide any to Iran and all our missiles are accounted for?
Those foreign companies stealing our LNG are actually paying company tax now? When did this start? ๐ค
Following the urban myth, Rubio pretends he needs a size 13 when he is only a size 6.๐
Perhaps he realised that the results of the RC have already been written in Tel Aviv?
Do we have a phone number for this joker? I have a bridge I want to sell him.
Last year he also said Iran's nuclear industry was totally destroyed. Just as people refuse to admit the Emperor has no clothes so too people refuse to admit that Trump is no longer compos.
Having professional diplomats helps too instead of having nepo appointments.
Only "one" of the worst decisions say "officials"? Explicit admission there are more. We know it but it is rare for anyone in officialdom to actually admit it.
Albanese's knackerless NACC had to be dragged kicking and screaming into investigating Robodebt. It's conclusions were always going to be tainted with scepticism. Too much mateship involved.
Never get between Poorleen and free money.
Australia has fallen over itself helping the Iranian soccer players get asylum. Nothing wrong in that but it is a mark of our hypocrisy that if these same people had arrived by boats we would ship them off to our concentration camp on Nauru in the blink of an eye.
Under our the Federal non-exhaustive preferential voting system a vote for the Greens just filters back to the ALP except in the extremely unlikely event the Greens candidate wins on primary votes. I do vote Green these days.
After more than 50 years of voting Labor, I dumped them for the Greens in 2022 but I am aware that under our voting system my Greens vote just filters back to the ALP via preferences.
Trump, future prison inmate.
Reading the article it becomes clear that no one within Labor wants to speak on the record. They are as spineless as their leader.
Yeah, but who are you gonna vote for? The Albanese version of the ALP is a spineless Trump/Netanyahu puppet and the Coalition is all that and a total shambles in every other respect as well. Indies can be a choice but they don't run in every electorate.
...but ...but... Trump said the Iranians did it themselves. He wouldn't lie, would he?๐ค
Whether Australia grants asylum to the Iranian soccer players will depend entirely on what Netanyahu tells Albanese he can do.
How many in Trump's mob have been short selling stock?
Just look at it as the Iranian plan to liberate Americans from the grip of a despotic and deranged fanatic. Wonder where they got the idea from?
"Once a symbol of unity, equality and democratic rights..."
Total rubbish. Romantic myth. It was the precursor for the White Australia Policy. Nothing equal or democratic about that unless you were white.
You say "political pragmatism" another person might say "political cowardice". Capitulating to fascists never ends well.
Quite likely, because their talent pool is exceedingly shallow and he will distinguish himself in the same way that Abbott, Morrison and Dutton have.
Seems to me it's gone from "...kill the Revolutionary Guard and religious leaders and liberate the Iranians" to "...slaughter everyone and raze the country to the ground just like Gaza" in less than a week.
His WW2 campaigns repeated his WW1 ones and were as just as disastrous showing he learned nothing but he provided a rallying point for the UK population after the dithering of Chamberlain and his cohorts. In the 30s much of the UK aristocracy and the Ruling Class enthusiastically supported Hitler.
Churchill was a failure at everything he did in WW1 and a non-entity, laughing stock in the 20s and 30s but he was a war-monger at the time the UK needed a war-monger to survive. The UK people dumped him as soon as the war ended. His political come-back after that was short-lived.
How much did he directly receive for his tenure and how many millions did he make on the side?
At no time has any Australian government, ALP or LNP asked us if we are happy to be dragged into USA wars. Never asked if we consent to paying hundreds of billions of dollars for nuclear submarines which even in the unlikely event we actually get them, will be obsolete long before they get wet.
I have written before, she stands before the world with a crucifix emblazoned on her chest then through her words and deeds she mocks Christ.
