Poroshenko was not "far right" and he was also democratically elected. Sometimes when the president violates the constitution, he can be removed by the parliament. It's a pity they don't have it in USA, but in Ukraine they do.

When someone lies to you about huge Russian gains, here's a comparison of the frontline year to year, 2026 Jan 1st - 2025 Jan 1st. Hard to the difference without zooming the selected parts where some change happened (in large sections no change at all).
When I said "without zoom", I meant the whole frontline, not just one place where someone moved a kilometer
With a zoom, sure. Here is the version without zoom (1 Jan 2025 - 1 Jan 2026).
If you compare picture 1 January 2025 to 1 January 2026, you will be unable to spot the difference (if both images unsigned). Try that on a map service of your choice. Do yo need me to prepare such picture for you? I'm a bit lazy, but if you insist...
They don't say Ukraine "hasn't gained ground". The gains are small (ca 400 sq km in 3 months), so you just wouldn't see them without a huge zoom. But the same is true about Russian gains for the entire 2025. Invisible without a huge zoom.
Actually, for the last couple months Russia is not taking "even more" Ukrainian territory, they are losing it. Slowly - true (but their previous gains were also at snail speed).
If someone voted for Trump hoping he will stop endless wars, it was as silly as voting for him hoping he will release the unredacted Epstein files. It was obvious for everyone he's the wrong guy for both reasons (well, to everyone outside of America, that is)
But it's a crisis of his own making. It was obvious that by bombing Iran, he will cause Iran to blockade Hormuz, creating the biggest oil crisis since 1970's. If he's not Russian asset, he certainly behaves like one (and of course, Bibi is also happy about this arrangement).
I'm not American (thank God!), and yes, obviously he doesn't work for you. You are hit by gas prices, you pay the tariffs (he lied to you someone else would, but that's not how tariffs work), he destroys your alliances.
Everything Trump does benefits Russia one way or another. Yes, Russia used to help Venezuela to bypass sanctions, but it was always purely transactional. It was not an alliance. Now Trump is lifting sanctions, that is exactly what Putin as a boss would have ordered him to do.
Since Bibi and Putin have many common interests, I don't understand why you think if Trump supports one, he can't also work for the other. It's like Epstein - he worked for Israel, but also for Russia.
Russia has no allies, only business partners. And Putin benefits from oil prices hike & lifted sanctions.
Unfortunately not, it's eclipsed by Iran
Russia is trying to create it for years, it's not news
You are very efficient with emoji, my congratulations. However, you should learn a bit about NATO - your fantasies about something that never happened display your lack of understanding why it was not possible. The reason why is actually pretty interesting, try to research it.
Please read on yourself, then you will know why what you described never happened and is just plainly impossible.
Use even a single source to find the date of that hypothetical fast track invitation. Or even better, even a single source on how the admission works.
It's fantastic that you can google an image of a book cover. Now, please try to find a date of that event, when Ukraine received a fast track invitation. Or even better: do some reading and learn why it's not even possible (answer: too many vetos).
As people living in the former Soviet Block would happily explain you in more detail, Russia is not the kind of partner that provides help. Trade? Yes. Help? No.
I know it very well. I live here. My country had to pull every available trick to join NATO. It's impossible for us to miss such incredible event, like "Ukraine gets a fast track invitation". It never happened. It's you who should learn Eastern European history from the fall of Soviet Union.
Even when we do, what difference would it make?
Nobody ever promised Ukraine they can join NATO. There was always too many countries willing to veto. USA can't make such promise, it has to be unanimous, and it never was.
But the Dow Jones, and her emails!
Small correction: in Trump's eye, Ukraine can't make him rich and Russia can
US humiliated - of course. Trump saying "big success I managed to kill 86 year old ayatollah" - of course, too.
On behalf of Eastern Europe I will just say, kudos for Chamberlain to explore the possibility of German occupation of our countries, we all love him here
...so this is how affluent suburb merely 50 km from Moscow center looks like?
Will I become a billionaire? Tune in tomorrow.
And natural gas, that's why the chemical word is "hydrocarbons", but you know all there is to know.
