Multiple fancy cheeses in a shop display
Wife (at home) sent this to me (in hospital).
To be fair, she brought a flask of real coffee, some Red Leicester and crackers.

Even if that parasite had done nothing but put Ralph the Talking Turd into parliament, that would be enough to disqualify him.
Iโll always trust the findings on Robodebt from Commissioner Catherine Holmes, who led a commission of integrity, who didnโt hold hearings in secret, over & above the findings of the NACC, led by Paul Brereton who works in the shadows with conflicts running through his veins.
No lie detected
We were expecting to buy the walker and shower seat I'll need for a few weeks but they send them home with you and a physio makes house calls. Staff are overworked and underpaid but haven't met anyone who wasn't great.
You'd be hard pressed to find a worse climate villain when it comes to data centres than Elon Musk.

By my own calculations, Musk's carbon bomb slop factories are undoing nearly half to all of the emissions cuts from Tesla products ketanjoshi.co/2026/03/02/m...
Yeah. Oddly enough, part of the reason was that I'm too active for some of the shorter lived alternatives. Couldn't take home the old one for a staff top - apparently I'm biowaste!
Been really getting into makeup tutorials lately, and I know Canavan loves a bit of coal cosplay
Out of surgery. My son responded "Hip hip hooray" for which I blame the parents. Asked my wife if I'd said anything rude or inappropriate while semi-conscious and she smiled and said yes. She seems pleased.
Sure Bob
Thanks for the kind comments
What really annoyed me about it was how trivial it was. Not wrestling crocodiles or jumping off a bridge. Just a step to the left as they say. Oh well - not throwing in the towel.
Well bugger. Surgeon has recommended a full hip replacement. Not happy.

So a kidney stone is..?
Decided that I hate oxycodone. Dry mouth, slurred speech, fuzzy thinking.
Yep. Lovely staff though.
Diamond shaped sign "QUIET HOSPITAL ZONE "
Spent the night in the ED while waiting for an orthopaedic bed. 3 machines with the same 'bong' but slightly out of sync(!), groaning drunk, various beeps, pings, rings and clatters and constant conversation. Remember those signs? Fantasy
And "I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again"?
Pffft. I'm sure you're worth a hefty deposit
Grrrrrr
Update: not ok ๐
But which one?
There are still AM stations?
Same. Still remember a great conversation with a driver from Pakistan. I was in full kilt, sporran and formal jacket and he was curious about my skirt.
Those appalling wastes of space and oxygen, Hanson and her vile crew, should visit Maroondah hospital. At a rough guess about 70% of the staff were born overseas. The health system would collapse without them. And I can't speak highly enough of the whole staff - even if I can't wait to leave.
Yeah. Cracked the neck of the femur. Switching to a hospital with an orthopaedic unit. Not sure if I'm getting pinned or screwed...
Black t-shirt printed with "what could possibly go wrong? "
Oh, NOW you tell me! And I was even wearing my t-shirt .

So, about that fall...
Loved Deadloch, looking forward to s2
Some idiot was building a triple shelf for wood storage (using some of the wood) and tripped. Hit his head on a saw stand and twisted his hip. NOT "a fall", I'm, er he's too young for that. Nothing broken but very sore.
