My hubs told me I was home a month already. It feels just like a week or so. This is such a weird thing. PT and OT at Touro slowly getting me “normal”.

Thank you! I’m officially released from Touro and start outpatient Ash Wednesday!!

Haven’t been outside of Touro in almost a month. I got out twice today! Rehab had a parade. Then they took us to the parades! I get to go home tomorrow and start outpatient on Ash Wednesday. I can walk with a walker for long distances. Just need to walk without it next. #guilanebarre

Day 20-something I’ve been at Touro. Rehab is going well. I have another 8 days before I go home and start outpatient. Guillian Barre is crazy. I can feel my feet, but not my legs. Me and the floor are besties. 😂

CBS morning news did a bit on him one day this past week. 😂

Rest day in rehab. 2 falls yesterday 😤. But that just means I pushed my body harder. Guillan Barre is a bitch, but I’m attacking back.

I have so much craft stuff, I totally need to do this.

Oh girl, I completely feel this. Thought I was crazy when my symptoms started. Everyone did, even the ER. I finally have a diagnosis (after 2 months of er visits and numerous tests). Fight them all and get the help you need. It’s a PITA, but you got this.

Day 11 @touro. 1st day in rehab (PT/OT). Been through hell…guillian barre got me. Drs unsure how. Now on the road to recovery. 1st shower in 2 wks was amazing. WJ couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Touro did. My view is amazing.

3rd time in WJ hospital & it seems I may finally have some answers. Myelin sheath issues causing numbness/weakness/salty taste. MRI’s all came back clean. Lumbar puncture tomorrow. Hopefully a diagnosis soon. This has been crazy.

I don’t like the sound of melting snow. 😭

My hubs decided to get solar panels last summer. They’re finally hooked up. What we didn’t expect is the insulation now makes our 2nd fl 100° in winter and downstairs in the 50s. I’m dying. lol

9am this morning. 11pm last night. Everything is frozen in NOLA. 10 inches here. It’s so magical. I think it’ll be until Friday before we can go anywhere.

Back in WJ ER. Legs and arms are super numb. Low Potassium and UTI still. I hope they can fix me this time and give me what I need when I leave, unlike last time. 😤

Those are nice bands. I swim all summer, but usually I’ve made a million band changes.

I bought a case too. #nerd My favorite is my rainbow nylon one with actual buckle. I hate the little knob ones that slide under. They don’t feel as sturdy.

Every time I see the inches for snow we may get, I giggle. 🍆🍆🍆

😂 I think I have one for every season now. I love the little sliders too, but they don’t work with the elastic ones. 🤦🏻‍♀️
