What can I say about what is literally just a crab? It's hardly interesting until it grows large enough to wear a Monoblos skull. Though I suppose it does still look kinda funny sometimes... being a crab and all. They do have that silly energy about them.

The thumbtacks of the Scarlet Forest, just stepping on these monsters can hurt. Paragill are quite irritating, but share the same temperament as Jagras, in that if one is slain, the rest will run.

Of all the Lynians I encountered during my time in the New World, the Boaboa were by far my favorite to work and bond with. They are exceptionally civilized, and offer so much to help on the hunt with their menagerie of traps and weapons. I won't soon forget the connection we made.

One of the sillier of pack monsters, I enjoy being around them as much as they definitely don't like me being in their territory. But the way they stick their tongues out when running around and hopping about... well, I see why they're called "Dog Wyverns."
Notes:
Exceptionally useful when on the hunt, either paralyzing large threats themselves with their unique horns, or... "offering" them to me for use with the slinger. It doesn't always feel great to break off an ultimately innocent monster's only line of defence, but paralysis cannot be passed up.

No one thinks about it very hard, but why are Popo tongues so... good? Like, you're eating a tongue. That's not weird to anyone else? Just me? We don't eat any other monster's tongues, so why these ones? If these are so good, then what about, like, an Apceros tongue?

Do not, under any circumstances, underestimate a pack of Blango. Exceedingly dangerous and intelligent as a pack, these small monsters can easily cost a careless hunter one of their carts... yes, I'm speaking from experience.
