I do want to give special mention to Claire who was with us since she circled in the opposite direction of Rose, underneath my position, which helped cover my blind spots from the ground and made sure Rose was covered from two angles, wordlessly Resulted in the 3rd getting boxed in and taken out.
Trevor saying he liked watching Rose & I take out a team in Marathon due to our synergy made my day. I downed 1 from high ground while Rose moved in for the kill and then got 2 as I tracked 3. Rose circled wide killing them and getting angles I couldn't while I monitored from high ground. Good stuff

Splatoon gyro was tricky to learn for me but i got used to it. I wonder how gyro is these days. Fundamental problem with controller is games have to be built around it with aim assist and such (solvable). I imagine some older games built for kb/m like hl1 aren't gonna feel as good by comparison.

Due to having fought in places like Ultima Thule, the Interdimensional Rift, and the Sea of Stars, against adversaries of immense power, prolonged opening of Skull's storm chakra could break down reality as they've been influenced by preternatural beings, and thus sharpened the efficacy of aether.
Opening all three would lead to an Aetherstorm that shatters the very firmament with a fulminating release of aether. The impact is so severe the heavens themselves coalesce into an upside-down hurricane, enwreathed in aurorae and arcane circles. Torrential rain and hail and lightning strikes.
Opening one is a simple strengthening of himself. He has done this to best adversaries like primals before. He's never opened more than one, but opening two has an area of effect the size of a battlefield, and three could affect an entire city.
Like how Zenos has his signature ability "Concentrativity," Skull's signature ability is "Aethereliquary," where he opens his storm chakra can leverage the accrued ambient and bodily aether to accelerate and heighten his combat prowess.
The accumulated aether is condensed to such a degree that it appears distant and thin, and Skull's own bodily aether masks its appearance.
While naturally dormant, the storm chakra churn and whirl in combat, and Skull has been slowly accumulating ambient aether from all the fighting he's done. They're also coloured by the opponents he's faced, like how tornadoes pull up debris from the environment.
Curiously, the only entities who can naturally detect their potency are Succubus voidsent due to their heightened aethersense, but this works out to be a moth-to-flame situation in most cases.
Someone with specialized equipment, or special sight like Y'shtola, can see the storm chakra, but they appear as slightly brighter stars in a night sky—you have to know what to look for, and even if you see them, you wouldn't necessarily know their significance.

Skull's actually a Highlander, but he's a runt so he uses the Midlander model. Yda and Minfilia were supposed to be Highlanders in 1.0, but Highlander women didn't have unique models prior to ARR. I thought it was a fun quirk so I borrowed that idea for my WoL.

I hate whenever a pop game comes out & the glazers say stuff like "Outpost in Marathon is peak it's like a place that could actually exist in its world" as if level designers haven't been doing that for ages.
