I’m annoyed there aren’t more people talking about the Algonquin cuts… like wtf?
I'm disappointed and saddened tonight by the Algonquin College Board of Governors' decision to cut 30 critically important programs. Programs that led to employment, that built our community, that made our economy stronger. This goes way beyond Mr. Ford's "basket weaving" quip.
I think Algonquin is cutting some programs that are pretty important. It has felt like theyve done a push to have "certificate" or add-ons for people in careers over people starting careers, whoch seems like they're mining money from people woth it rather than education for people.
The slow death of Algonquin College continues… absolutely disgraceful.
Shame on those who voted for these cuts. Do you actually think this will HELP the school?

In all seriousness Nirvanna the band the show the movie has to be one of the best films I’ve seen in theatres in a LONG time, maybe THE best.
Never have I left a film feeling the things I did after this.
I implore you, see this movie if you can, you won’t regret it.

The Hollywood Reporter published a review on the Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, and although I get not everyone is gonna like everything, the reviews implication that it’s a ripoff of Back to the Future, and it’s referring to Canada as ‘unrealized 51st state’ is just anger inducing… wtf???
I usually feel sad when a Canadian celebrity rises through the ranks and makes it to American media and almost “forgets” their roots…
But in a case like Kevin O’Leary more than happy to see him flock over there. They can keep him!
