@pollytoynbee.bsky.social no one wants to take action but look at the graphs, the blue line is the average worker, they have seen CPI pay restoration (&gov therefore income tax restoration). Now look at the lines for residents & consultants, why should they be subbing the NHS with their pay?
The NHS 'There's no money': Are we trying to deliver a Scandinavian/European level of health care on a USA level of taxation? Is it up to the staff to bridge the gap through their own pay?
