They are dog houses but not used as such
One of the houses, the birds, squirrels, and bunnies go into. The other closer to the back of the property was put there for any other animals that might want to use it.

First deer visit of the season!

Freezing over night but then by Thursday back to seasonal temps 🤞

Snow snow go away!
I want to go in my garden and play!

Fortunately we were not hit too hard by the ice storm this past weekend.

But warmer temperatures today are making for quite the thaw

A long time dream come true

I’m beginning to wonder what trees are best to replant with as many seem to have diseases or infestations that could cause them to die off

As sad as we were to see many of our trees taken down the week before, it was a blessing because had they been still standing, there could have been a lot of damage

Sunday, Monday and Tuesday look like snow days ❄️
Temps are a roller coaster of lows 🥶 with a couple of breaks in between

Look at it’s little hand 🥰
This is Patch the red squirrel 🐿️

I’ve named it for the patch of white fluff on its hind end (opposite side)

When I go outside, I call it, and 9x out of 10, it comes down from the trees for some 🥜
