To those thinking of boycotting the 2026 FIFA World Cup games in US (which I support), consider only boycotting the cities in "Red" States (support Trump) but still go to those in "Blue" (those that have been fighting him)

feeling a bit pessimistic honestly, we have heard a lot about Ds overperforming, and they have. But in the end, all it means is a R barely wins, but its still a win for them. I feel like we'll hear that a lot. Again, hoping just pessimism, and not what will really happen.
Republican lawmakers are not afraid of the shadow presidents, they are only afraid of Trump because of his control of the MAGA base. Once he is gone, fracturing will begin. And, no, I did not miss your point. I think its a valid concern, but I dont think its nearly as dire.
Yeah, normal America. But if the party in power is actively engaging in fascism, removing or blocking the right to vote, and doing whatever possible to cheat to win (including invading cities with fed troops) a peaceful solution may be naive.
Some people also do more harm than good by simply existing.

After seeing how many ICE agents wear masks, they are probably supplemented with actual Proud Boys right? we haven't heard much from them in a while. Maybe this is their "stand by" role.

Russia has always wanted the US to fail, and thanks to their asset, they are failing in the economy, the sciences, the military isn't trusted by anyone, and their world standing is plummeting.
He doesn't care about the stock market because Russia told him not to care.
Removing the US might be the excuse the trump regime is waiting for to do something drastic and stupid.

I read she is hesitant to remove a black NYC mayor since she barely got the support from black voters as it is, but if she waits until march 26th then the public advocate (Jumaane Williams) becomes acting mayor. Williams is a progressive democrat.

There is not an infinite number of lawyers who agree with trump ignoring the rule of law. If there was, they would have just fired them instead is trying to coerce.
It'll be difficult to fill those roles, and whomever they do get will be bottom barrel awful who will lose a lot.
