Top notes Mint, raspberry, black pepper Heart notes Black tea, everlasting flower, magnolia Base notes Leather, birch wood, labdanum, frankincense
#sotd Masque Milano Russian Tea. Raspberry and mint blast (think old icebreaker commercials) melts into a rather intimate black tea scent with woody accents from magnolia and birchwood. Folds politely into soft leather and skin scent resins. Curious how it may perform in hot weatherπ€

Just picked up this sample from Miller Harris. Initial test spray will warrant a wear. Would you say the oud is too animalic for work wear?
Excellent band name
Exactly. Self awareness is key.
Or you could "wake up" one day after innocently scrolling through gray market sites for "research" for the last few Sunday evenings and discover that you have over 200 samples, 50 bottles, and countless oils and wonder "gee, how did that happen?"
How beautiful the melancholy and how joyous the life around the cemetery.
Marc Jacobs Honey perfume bottle that is really just two yellow balls with white dots stacked on top of one another. The stylized bee with yellow and black wings is perched on the side of the topper. This bottle sits in front of two black and white boxes while resting on a vanity on which a mirrored base with gold stemmed roses and a red forever rose in a cliche provide backdrop.
#sotd Tuesday for breakfast with parents and a pedicure in the afternoon. MJ Honey puts me in mind of a medieval street scene. The honeyed mead flows in the tavern next door while the flowers bloom from a distant meadow.
Felt nauseous for the first time in ages today (not counting dysautonomia flares) and slept in ridiculously late. Scuttlebut in our state has long been suspect the bill could pass any year now to stop the madness but every spring we still πͺ ahead
π€ Thank you Runa. She has great taste and the practicality of something is never lost on her. My dad described them as "presentation plates or if you just want to use them to glom something down." We've always been a family of "take this if you have space for it". It's great they can see us enjoy it
#gratitude to my mother who has influenced my aesthetics more than I realized. I inherited these lovely plates just as my husband and I were whittling down the set I purchased 15 years ago upon setting out on my own. I got to give her a hug of thanks and now they will grace our table for many meals.
I have Unspoken Gesture waiting in my sample drawer and several on my Scent Split wishlist. I'm getting more excited to see how they perfume on me π
Sounds like you have a winner!
Will do...eventually. I have a backlog of fragrances I've sampled recently but my hands are so tired after working that I don't even want to think about typing them out. I'll get back to it eventually, just figuring out how to pace it without making my hands spasm when I'm trying to work on someone
Wore Warm Bulb today and it reminded me so much of Lalique Le Parfum I couldn't focus on the scent except in noticing the scent trail as I ran back into it criss crossing the clinic today. I've added Hot Cotton to my wishlist on Scent Split
Never smelled the original but liked the basic structure in the reformulation. I can imagine it is probably more rich and textured as all the classics were
What one did you order?
Oh the bottles are adorbs and the family connection would make it worth it π
I haven't tried them but I'm so sensitive to Ambroxan that I wasn't able to enjoy the dry down of Daisy Wild and the flankers are just as beast mode. More for everyone else I guess π€·π»
Love that feeling when you realize, "oh. It's me!?". This was my experience with Marc Jacobs Honey. So so beginning but the dry down was spectacular
And that was my first album of theirs. God, every track a banger
I'm not one for fruits in perfume, but the depth of this from the soft flesh to the juice and even the slight bitterness when sucking the pit - it's a delicious not too sweet journey
Such whimsy we can add to life with scent
You are most brilliant π
Thanks to Audio books, I am cruising at 2, one in the wings (kindle) and one in book form. I'm with Runa on the white noise. If you don't already have one, highly recommend this one. Just be careful, I find the train, plane, and dishwasher excellent for napping π΄

I'm flattered but it really is that lovely. It wears so long and keeps developing. Definitely a Wealthy widow. With furs and powder
That's great feedback! Practical and good looking.
As for VR - Sharp rose then softest most nuzzle-worthy rose water boudoir vanity powder that's just sweaty enough to be sexy and not rank. Every time I wear it I feel like I'm channeling the spirit of some royal mistress.
How Adoreable! Venice Rococo is on my list. Travel spray of Indigo Smoke will have to do until I decide to upsize
My admin girls share spritzes with me too! I'm currently working on putting together sample sets for them.
How great to find another perfume fan? We just did a survey at work about what you like about your coworkers, and I got so many "she's got the best taste in perfumes" I straight up snorted on delight
