Last year I attended my first games industry event since transitioning and it really struck me how welcome I felt and how easy it was to talk to people

It feels crushingly unfair that the decisions around my life and healthcare are made by people so far detached from my daily reality

I don’t really see the benefit in bringing that up if we all agree that it isn’t the case here

If that’s what it would take for them to care then yes, but they should care about what’s being done to us even without the threat of it one day happening to them too

Mhm. Even if they don’t listen to a single positive experience, the burden of proof that trans healthcare is harmful should still be on the people who want it banned. Yet they admit they found nothing

Yes, they’re admitting that they found ‘some’ evidence of trans healthcare having positive effects, and no evidence strong enough to warrant banning it. Yet here we are

Cis people need to pay attention to the way they communicate this. They freely admit that after all of their research, they came up with zero evidence that HRT was harmful.

Then they banned it anyway, claiming their inability to find a reason is a reason in of itself.

This entire post is silly. Most of this stuff is the exact kind of information I want from a playtest

Onboarding for example; I didn’t purposely exclude a tutorial, I assumed the game was self-explanatory. now I’ve seen people interact with it, I know which parts need explaining

Scott Pilgrim EX is cool, I really like how it’s structured like a JRPG rather than being level-based. And the combat feels much better than the older game

It’s also very funny how all the recent Scott Pilgrim stuff has decided he’s a Sonic guy. Like of course he is

S4 is a bit meandering until Lalo shows up, but I also think it’s a necessary bridge between the ‘Jimmy’ and ‘Saul’ parts of the show if that makes sense

I think Breaking Bad got away with being faster-paced because Walt isn’t an especially nuanced character

Yea I do think Better Call Saul is a much better written show

In the actual show, he Mr Magoos his way into a well-organised drug trade, pisses everyone off and causes the whole thing to collapse. Even the other criminals find him exhausting

Ppl act like the entire show is just those 2 cool speeches he does that get sold on t-shirts

I love the scene immediately after his death, when Megatron is just standing there letting Starscream’s brutal final words wash over him

Armada Starscream is the opposite of a regular Starscream. He works so hard to win his shitty boss’s respect, then has to detach his own self-worth from Megatron’s abusive treatment

When he challenges Megatron’s leadership, he’s 100% correct

Yeah fr. In platformers I always think of bosses as an explanation point at the end of the world. When they take just as long as the levels but there’s no variety (and often no checkpoints) it just feels like I’m stuck in the same place for ages

I put my phone in my bra after ordering drinks but I must not have locked it and when I took it out YouTube was open and a cybershell video about Sonic 4 was playing. Technology is so cool

They really moved the Task Status button and replaced it with the AI one to trick ppl into clicking it out of muscle memory

I’m glad they’ve put it back now, but still the audacity

It was a lil funny how the app just wasn’t working at all for me yesterday, and his posts were the first things I saw when I tried again today

It got weird when they started fighting for you on the overworld

I had a cute ducky defending me from scary monsters, then it turned into a large man who kicks squirrels and birds to death for me

He’s browt and he didn’t say nowt

Yeahh like I don’t hate the more anthro-looking ones but it’s weird now that you see them in the overworld. A cute duckling defending you from wildlife has a different vibe to a large blue man who follows you around kicking dogs in the face
