Vanessa would then stay cuddled up against her mom for the rest of the evening and just enjoying watching multiple documentaries with her mom.
“I promise you that I’ll never forget that I will always be your baby girl no matter how old I get. I love you so very much, mom. You’re my hero.”
Vanessa laughs softly and then presses a gentle kiss on Mags’s forehead before continuing to carry both Mags and Charlotte home carefully.
“How about we safe that for after you have recovered fully, hm? You know I’ll never turn you down but I do want you to be completely healed first.”
“Why don’t we watch a Nature Documentary instead mom? It’ll be a nice change but also nostalgic because it’ll remind me of my childhood. What do you say?”
Vanessa is cuddling into her mom just like she did as a child “And truthfully it would be nice just being your baby girl for a little while.”
“It’s lovely. Charlotte gets to meet her first born niece makes it all so beautiful and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. I’m so proud of you and I’m sure that Charlotte is too.”
Vanessa still can’t believe how lucky she is but she also can’t stop thinking about what she did to be this blessed
“I’d love that mom.” Vanessa immediately starts making multiple different snacks for the movie night with her mom. Vanessa then also smiles at her mom.
“You know, I think you should be the one who firsts picks our movie to watch together tonight. Would you be okay with that decision, mom?”
“I was hoping we could see this only as a positive thing because I am sure that Charlotte would want that too.” Vanessa places a kiss on Mags’s forehead and smiles.
“If you are ready I can take you home so that you can get some rest, and of course we can come back and visit Charlotte anytime.”
Vanessa smiles and nods her head before starting to make herself some snacks but also gives her mom a gentle squeeze before smiling some more.
“You know, I don’t say it very often mom but I am so lucky and so grateful that I was blessed with a mom that is as amazing as you are mom.”
Vanessa is just smiling because she is so happy that she was able to give Mags her dream of being a mom. Vanessa even places a kiss on Mags’s temple.
“I’m so proud of you, babe. You carried our perfect angel for nine months and then did amazing whilst giving birth to our little princess too.”
“You’ll always have me asking you questions when I’m not sure in my own faith, mom. Maybe even to the point when it will become annoying for you mom.”
Vanessa laughs softly and then gives her mom a gentle cuddle “I know what we can do. Why don’t we watch a movie together if you have time, mom.”
“Of course I would love to help you put Charlotte to bed, Darling.” Vanessa gently holds Mags’s lower back whilst they are walking upstairs to put Charlotte to bed.
“You know that I could never turn down helping you putting our beautiful little girl to bed for the first time, my love.”
“It must still feel so surreal for you, mom but if it helps you feel a little better I’m still going to be the same girl that will need the comfort of her mom when she’s sad, scared, hurt or tired.”
Vanessa comes in and gently hugs her mom “I might be grown now but I’ll always need you, mom.”
Vanessa smiles watching her wife bonding with their daughter who lets out a little stretch, indicating she is tired and Vanessa no doubt is confident Mags is too.
“I know we just got home but I think it’s time we all go upstairs to bed, it’s the early hours and my two girls are exhausted.”
Vanessa laughs softly “Even the most perfect people can’t always be perfect. You helped them, which is probably a lot more than what most people would do.”
Vanessa gently squeezes Stephanie’s shoulders and smiles “You’re doing great and I never want you to forget how amazing you are, okay?”
“I always knew if I met the right person and they wanted children then I would be happy to have children too.” Vanessa smiles warmly at her mom.
“And I’m so glad that I did because I love Charlotte already and making you a Grandmother and giving you a daughter-in-law is my greatest achievement.”
“That would be bad if you were. Yes, let’s go.” Vanessa is gently guiding Mags towards the hospital but also gently caresses her lower back.
“We are going to get you looked at and then we can finally go home with our beautiful little girl and celebrate her in the comfort of our own home.”
Vanessa smiles and nods her head, hearing Stephanie’s suggestion and looks over at the direction that Violet walked before turning back to Stephanie.
“Thank you for comforting me Stephanie. You are a sweetheart, probably far more of a sweetheart than I could ever imagine myself being.”
“I don’t think you were dramatic, mom. You believed for so long that you weren’t destined to be a mom and so when Michael and eventually, I came along you wanted to keep us safe.”
Vanessa gently smiles at her mom “I’m sure Michael was a surprise but did you ever think it would happen twice?”
“I’ll look after her Charlotte, I swear.” Vanessa gives Charlotte a promised look and then picks up Magnolia as slowly and as gently as she can.
“Are you ready to go now baby or would you like a little more time with Charlotte before I take you to the hospital?”
Vanessa nods her head, finding herself understanding what is going through Violet’s head and smiles small at Stephanie because she does indeed feel comforted.
“Do you think she would be okay with me coming and apologising or do you think I should give her some space to think?”
Vanessa now feels a little guilty and her brows press together in thought and then Vanessa turns her head towards Stephanie
“I hope I didn’t upset her, I really wasn’t trying to make it sound that way, maybe I came on way too thick too soon? I think I should go and apologise to Violet for that.”
“I’m worrying again, aren’t I? Mags is always telling me I am doing that when it isn’t necessary.” Vanessa laughs then shakes her head in disbelief at herself.
“Somehow I have a feeling that the overly worrying isn’t something that I didn’t inherit from you, huh? I’m really sorry for that mom.”
Vanessa decides to put her differences with Puppet, Charlotte away because her priority now is Mags and Charlotte’s name sake.
“Charlotte, Puppet, I know you don’t particularly like me and I can understand why but would you be willing to put away our differences for Mags sake, at least for now.”
Vanessa smiles at Stephanie’s excited squeal from Violet and herself bonding and Vanessa smiles even more whilst listening completely to Violet’s stories.
“Amazing. You are truly incredible, Violet but I am sure you have heard that so many times from people that it’s just a word to you now, huh?”
“You didn’t make me uncomfortable mom, I promise and I want you to have fun, it’s just going to take a little warming up for me knowing that you’re being penetrated.”
Vanessa cuddles into her mom again and exhales softly “He doesn’t hurt you when you are both well you know, having fun together.”
“Hey, stop, let me do that.” Vanessa helps Mags sit back down before bringing the car seat over, gently taking Charlotte and securely straps her inside.
“We also have to get you looked at by a Doctor, too. I read that it’s important both mom and baby are seen by a Doctor after birth.”
“She’s incredible. I have seen some amazing things in my life but this tops everything.” Vanessa is smiling whilst watching Violet with her magic.
“You don’t have to answer this Violet, but I am curious. What is the most power spell that you have taught yourself? What does the spell do?”
“Isn’t it like really uncomfortable for you to hear your child, well… you know?” Vanessa did seem to relax in her nerves when her mom takes the time to comfort her.
“I don’t think I would have ever seen it as you disturbing my peace, mom, as a matter of fact I would have preferred your honesty.”
“Of course I can baby, you just focus on resting.” Vanessa gently takes Charlotte into her arms and gently shushes her so that she doesn’t fuss
“I know you are tired baby but maybe we should take you home so we can get you cleaned up and in bed so that you can sleep comfortably. Can you do that?”
Vanessa is immediately accepting and smiles whilst hearing that Violet is a witch but also that she has two parents that love her unconditionally
“That is amazing Violet, I see why your mom and dad are so proud I personally think that you are doing amazing so far, if that helps you feel better.”
Vanessa is now mortified that her mom heard every single moment and Vanessa also looks at her mom, her cheeks burning bright pink.
“I am so sorry mom. You could have knocked on the door and told us to keep the noise down. You know that we both would have done that if you had asked us too, mom.”
