FAQ Poly Relationships: at this time, we don't allow romantic poly relationships for the main couple. as this is a fest celebrating sansang, we'd like the focus to be on their relationship. background poly is 100% fine (ex YunHwaGi) as long as it does not involve SanSang Time Zones: For the first round we ran off of UTC, and the second round we ran off of EST. This round we are running off of CST! Due Dates: Everything will be due by midnight CST on the declared dates, giving a full 24 hours to submit!
FAQ Early Fills: Fills can be submitted at anytime! They will remain anonymous until author reveals. We highly encourage submitting your fills as soon as they're done, especially if you're wanting a second prompt! Fest Frequency: SanSang fest runs once a year, starting in early spring and ending in early summer, with the rest of the year occupied for set up for the next round, and games. Allowed Themes all forms of gender exploration (GNC, transgender, cisswap) BDSM safe, sane, and consensual kink a/b/o, hybrids, shifters, etc dark themes DD:DNE (this is allowed so long as it follows fest guidelines and doesn't contain anything not allowed)

Moodboards moodboards are not required for fest participation! they are encouraged, just to give your readers a taste of what vibe you're going for in your work, but are never required. if you have a moodboard to submit with your fill, we'll have a form available for submission! your moodboard will be posted alongside your (anonymous) fic.
Co-Authoring co-authoring is allowed! if you are co-authoring, both authors must be signed up, but only one author needs to claim the prompt with the second author added after/later/ if you plan to co-author with someone, please let us know in your sign up form! this is to make sure the mods aren't accidentally chasing someone down who hasn't claimed a prompt but is signed up!
Fills & Word Count all works submitted into the ao3 collection will remain anonymous until the reveal period. you may submit your filled claim at ANY point during the writing period, and the mods will post and promote them on the fest twitter after review. the minimum word count for ao3 submitted fills is 1,500 words. works do not need to be completed to be submitted if submitting a chaptered work, but the first chapter should be completed and meet the minimum word count.
Tagging all works must be tagged appropriately when being submitted. the mods will review all works before posting them, and will let you know if they think a tag is missing, or if the work is mistagged at all. this is for the safety of the readers and participants alike.
Prompting prompting for this fest is open prompting, meaning anyone can leave a prompt and is encouraged to. all prompts will be found on ao3 when it comes time for claiming. for self prompters, there will be an option for you as well that the mods will release during claiming for you. all participants must submit at least one prompt!
Claiming to claim a prompt, you must sign up during the sign up period. there will be only one claim per prompt, and in the event multiple people claim the same prompt, a mod will reach out as necessary. participants may claim a second prompt after filling their first one.
* early prompting will be done via google submissions for those who wish to leave prompts but not join the ao3 collection to leave prompts! a mod will add these prompts anonymously during the official prompting period

Participation Sansang Fest allows participation of all ages. That being said, however, please use the honor system. 18+ prompts cannot be submitted or claimed by anyone under the age of 18. Doing so will result in being banned from the fest, and an age restriction to be placed on future rounds of the fest. This is for your safety, our safety, and the safety of the rest of our participants.
