I had an MRI last week and there was a specific warning in the release form about the risks of shrapnel in the body during the scans. I can't help but think this might be relevant to characters traversing that walkway adjacent to the mag-lev line.

My wife and I have been using Girl I Guess for years. The research on each candidate all the way down to the local judges is surprisingly detailed and helpful.
The little garbage bags clogging up the stairwells!!! <3
!!!!! I recognize this hell-hole! Sure would be a shame if someone hijacked one of those Exoloaders and went on a rampage through the corpo office space with it or tore open a bunch of storage units to loot.
No tangible advice, but donβt stress!
How much for a guided tour of this spaceship? Can I play with its ancient munitions?
I just blew through βThe Hunt for the Death Valley Germansβ while doing laundry last night. Itβs an amateur sleuthing account of searching for a familyβs remains long lost in the wilderness. Whatβs a favorite tale of wilderness survival?

Iβve had this tab open for years for some reason. Itβs too sad to close?

We use a skewer to hang veggies in the cage- they are such tiny, we use our scraps from the cutting board- the tops of sweet peppers, apple peel, a bit of broccoli- food that would have gone into compost.
We adopted a lost parakeet we found a few years ago and it has been a really chill, easy to manage pet with a lot of joyful personality. The initial cage and feeding dishes took some money but the food is cheap. Vets always $$$ tho.
if two eggs and 1/3 cup of rice is a luxury breakfast what is a normal breakfast? I do oatmeal with an apple 1/2 date, almond butter, and raisins.
If making the font smaller doesnβt help the real trick is to reduce the letter spacing. See now itβs 112 and 1/2 pages.
There are just a few hours of fundraising left for The Conduit a MOTHERSHIP RPG adventure with illustrations by @jettilalewis.bsky.social
iβm really excited about this setting full of clone rebellions, cyberpunk bars, and black site labs.

Iβm in Humbolt Park, is Lone Archivist a Chicagoan too? I donβt think a iβve been to the Field Museum in likeβ¦ 20 years? Maybe moreβ¦
Plus one to Max Millerβs Tasting History. I enjoy a lot of his videos- garum was a lot of fun, as was βschool lunch cheese pizzaβ if you grew up in US public school. Almost all of them have a entertaining little history story in them.
An illustration of 3 crew members for the sci-fi horror RPG MOTHERSHIP drawn by Jettila Lewis, and the accompanying faction description and logo by Ben King.
A huge part of what makes doing a TTRPG project fun for me is just working with other people. I enjoyed coming up with rought written character outlines, but @jettilalewis.bsky.social brought them to life in ways I would never have imagined with her art.
Ah yeah! It's been so fun doing this project with you over the past year. I can't wait to share more with folks:-)
I never actually finished the mainline CP2077, but Phantom Liberty was head and shoulders above anything else in the main game. I get where you are coming from though, itβs rough having to step back narratively and throw in a bunch of new chapters to the story.
It's been really satisfying brainstorming these sci-fi horror #MOTHERSHIP modules with @streetsurgery.bsky.social. In one, a high stakes time-crunch to catastrophe on a claustrophobic subway, in the other a flight from both new and familiar foes in an abandoned high rise.
Bless you Mynah. Always my favorite.
I got the original Vast in the Dark Years back, and skipped the expansionβ¦ I might need to try this second print run though. Itβs a setting I really like.
it took them 30 minutes to understand lorem ipsum, or you had 30 minutes of thoughts on lorem ipsum?
if it wasnβt so frightening and irrational and shortsighted it might be really funny: the guy selling flowers at the interstate exit is a threat to national security? Grow up.
Iβm heading to work at the grocery and there is a Border Patrol helicopter the size of a truck circling my neighborhood. The lady is selling tacos in the park on my walk to work has never made me feel like I live in a warzone. ICE and border patrol have. They are disappearing my neighbors.
how do you do this in 10 minutes. Have you considered becoming less powerful.
I just watched Ballad of Buster Scruggs and really enjoyed βMeal Ticketβ and βThe Gal Who Got Rattled.β Would love to try RDR2 someday, but Iβm soooo hesitant to pick up another sprawling open epic.
Make one of those cups decaf, skip US news and replace it with elephant videos from The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust on Insta.
It can feel really strange to do special editions with alternate covers, signed, or numbered works, or bundling older, PDFs & print projects, but it might help raise just a little more money the next time you do a fundraiser.
I think you have a *splendid* back catalogue of work. Bundling some of your back catalogue in a higher priced backer option can be a great way to raise a little more funds without feeling like youβre taking away from the folks (like me) who might only be able to purchase the basic booklet.
