An outbreak of avian yet unknown cause has been flagged in the #DRC. So far 143 people have died. Symptoms are flu like symptoms and severe headaches ( basically most viral infections can present like this). Hoping we get confirmation of the etiology quickly.

6. I also took some inadvertent pilgrimages: NB this isnโt the Epi model Bernoulli (Daniel) but his uncle (Jacob) who discovered e (faux pas with the Archimedean not logarithmic spiral on this plaque!). Didnโt get a photo but ran into the John Snow memorial pump in London the other day too!

4. I added Cameroon ๐จ๐ฒ to my list of visited countries. In Yaoundรฉ my team delivered not one but two epidemiology modelling workshops!
3. Out of my 8 trips this year Iโd have usually have done by โ๏ธ I did 5 of these by ๐ (Cรดte dโIvoire ๐จ๐ฎ, Cameroon ๐จ๐ฒ and the US ๐บ๐ธ werenโt avoidable, but France ๐ซ๐ท (x2), Italy ๐ฎ๐น (via Switzerland ๐จ๐ญ), Belgium ๐ง๐ช, and Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ were)

1. In the summer I played pรฉtanque for the first time. After matches in Bouakรฉ and Montpellier Iโm basically an expert right?
