β€œThe government could end all of the suffering in our country… We could have health care and access to food, healthy foods, fresh food, we could have good doctors. We should be asking, β€˜Why are we investing billions of dollars into another war across the seas?’”

Eating With My Daughter and My Zepbound My food anxiety is inherited. Now that I’m on a GLP-1, I’m changing that for the both of us.

I have a column at @thecut.com now where I’ll be writing about fatherhood, and I figured I’d kick it off by talking about how I decided to start taking Zepbound because I want to do everything possible to be able to annoy my daughter for at least another 50 years. www.thecut.com/article/figu...

A good reminder that an authoritarian in power to rage against doesn’t make great art, providing people with affordable living spaces does more to incubate cool weird fringe shit that’s internationally renowned decades later

i’m outside the ice jail in broadview, illinois, where community members and electeds are holding a press conference after six people, including three u.s. citizens, were abducted from o’hare airport and detained for more than 40 hours.

feds took the six people to wisconsin before repeating them.

Richard Roeper’s 2026 Oscars predictions are here Get ready for the biggest night in show business, televised on ABC and live streamed on Hulu Sunday, Mar. 15 at 6 p.m. CT.

The Sun-Times abandoned film criticism once Roeper left the paper last year, so it’s particularly sad that this is the form of film commentary they’ll run: Oscar predictions by the former columnist oriented towards betting

THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!

Everyone should not have to have a direct line to elected officials in order to ensure that we are not kidnapped by the government.

This woman, US citizen living in Skokie, was detained at Ohare yesterday, taken to Broadview, then transferred to a detention facility in Wisconsin, now released. We know all this not because of DHS, who repeatedly denied that they even had her, but because her phone was pinging in those locations.
