The way it uses time to mess with you is genius. You don’t have to play at night to finish the game, but if you want to uncover everything… you’re going to want to. The atmosphere, the music, the hidden details—it all comes together to create something unforgettable.

😱 The Creepiest Part:
There’s this moment where the game acknowledges you’re playing late. It’s like it’s watching you, waiting for you to notice the little changes. I won’t spoil it, but let’s just say… I had to pause and turn on some extra lights.

The game knows when you’re playing at night. It’s not just about the time on your screen—it’s about the vibe. I found myself noticing things I hadn’t before, like objects that weren’t there during the day. It’s subtle, but it makes the experience so much more immersive.

🌚 Then I Played at Night…
Here’s where things got really interesting. The game doesn’t completely change at night—it’s still the same story, the same world—but there are details that only appear after dark, the music gets darker, the shadows feel heavier, and the tension? It’s constant.

🌞 Daytime Playthrough:
I started playing in the afternoon. The game feels, unsettling, but not overwhelming. You’re this guy trying to piece together his trauma. During the atmosphere is tense, but it’s manageable. I thought, “Okay, this is creepy, but I can handle it.”

So, File 47 dropped today, and I was like, “Alright, let’s dive in.” The concept? A horror game that knows what time it is and subtly changes depending on whether you play during the day or at night. Sounds intriguing, right?

I can’t create if I’m not taking care of myself. When deadlines pile up, I forget to eat, sleep, or even tidy my workspace. It always leads to creative blocks. Now I make it a point to light a candle, play some music, and take breaks. It’s amazing how much difference a little self-care makes

Moral of the story: Sometimes the art and the artist are very different. And always get your payments upfront, folks. 💸 Have you ever had a client that surprised you like this? Drop your stories—I need to know I’m not alone in this chaos. 😂

The wildest part? Looking back at the comic, it was full of red flags. Like, huge ones. But I didn’t notice at the time because, you know, deadlines. Now I’ve got this story as a ‘fun’ freelance horror tale to tell

Yep. The guy writing a ‘respectful romance’ comic was the exact opposite of his own story’s message. I couldn’t believe it. Meanwhile, I still hadn’t been paid for my work, and now I knew I probably never would be.

I finally reached out to someone who knew them, just to check if everything was okay. That’s when I learned the reason for the radio silence: the client was in jail. For domestic violence. Let that sink in. 🤯

Everything seemed fine at first. The work was straightforward, and the client was polite enough. But then… payment started getting weird. First it was delays. Then complete silence. I was like, ‘Okay, maybe life happened? Happens to everyone.’ Spoiler: I wasn’t ready for what I found out next.

So, a few years ago, I got approached by a writer to color their comic. The pitch? A ‘respectful’ and ‘heartfelt’ romance story. Sounded sweet, right? I was on board. Let’s set the mood: lots of soft tones, warm lighting, and tender moments.
