Quite the article. A friend of mine was at a corporate event in the 90s and Leo Sayer was the entertainment. Sayer jumped up on a table to perform his mini-gig and charmed the hearts of my pal and the rest of the audience with his energy and enthusiasm.
Added to my 'to watch' list. One modernish horror movie I think you might enjoy for its wild and nightmarish imagery is Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II. (No need to see PM 1, as they're not connected, although that film is fun too in a more traditional way).

I was aware of him, but I'm trying to work out whether the creators had any knowledge of Archie and his Riverdale pals when they bolted him together. Today, it's a Google search away, plus us comics folks are all so knowledgeable, but back then...?
I'm asking this question in 2026 as someone who has never read Robot Archie, but presumably there was zero connection between Archie and Robot Archie.
I remember thinking - a) every visual element is beautiful and b) it seems obsessed with a very narrow niche of human behaviour. But yeah, I will try again too.
