Once again, I don't think anyone in this admin is familiar with the P5 (or P6 or P7) maxim about planning. A week ago we were told the insurance program was ready to implement.

A contract of wheat is $30K nominal v. $90K for crude, a fraction of the margin and a fraction of the extremely elevated historical and option implied volatility.
Hard to call it a safe bet in the current environment, but maybe your trading account lasts a little longer before it blows up. ;-)
Close to Roy Cohn, Lindsey Graham, Richard Grennel; fav. performers/media are Village People, Cats, Sunset Blvd; name on performing arts ctr & ballroom; flamboyant "taste" in interiors; nothing rugged/outdoorsy about him, comments on how handsome his picks are, etc, etc. Fits numerous stereotypes.
It's like S/M, Dom/Sub, humiliation fetish with same sex adults.
(Not familiar with precise terms)
Thank you! Good thing I didn't just hit the buy or sell button. ;-)
I've been tracking TTF and JKM values for a long time, but solely for big picture spreads and economic competitiveness v. US HH. I definitely have much to learn if I ever want to trade them.
He has a bad habit of rocking back and forth like a toddler who has to pee.
@usdhuga.bsky.social I don't trade the various LNG futures or options contracts but I do keep an eye on the prices. Offhand, do you know if the TTF ("TG" contract) price includes regasification & odorization? At a glance, I didn't find the answer in the Endex book. Thanks.
Eggs! HPAI will be taking a toll again this spring. Layer numbers were finally recovering, prices were quite weak, but there is now a 16.4M hole and Easter is approaching.
I would bet one Euro that does not include damage to U.S. bases including a radar dome and defensive system that reportedly is a billion+ if it's now junk.
"Buy Headlines. Sell Newspapers."
I hope the anesthesiologist sneezes or trips at a key moment.
Stock market is happy with $ORCL report, at least this afternoon. This snip (Dow Jones) has a factoid I was unaware of: they were flatlining for 9 years before the cloud pivot.
Oil prices lower today and the spread* btwn nearby and deferred contracts narrowed, too. π
*in energy lingo the mkt is in strong backwardation (opposite: contango). In grain lingo it's in a strong inverse (opposite: carry). Grain lingo is cooler (see "Top Gun") but respective hills to die on.

Were you an ag commodities and agribusiness reporter?
And that one shouldn't even be tweeting about this sort of thing. They're all addicted to attention.
This is the guy who, if memory serves, severely disrupted the WSJ newsroom circa 2015 for wanting the paper to go all in on Orange Man & MAGA (they did). He was demoted, although he's stuck around. I hardly ever read his stuff but the headline caught my eye. It's decent.

The next time your wife is mad at you, you can shrug, because on the internet (Joe W. comment) you're a "crowd favorite" π
Crude oil volatility: for all the craziness on Sunday night and throughout Monday, it's a little bit amusing (if you're sleep deprived) that the May contract ended up "unch" and Jun was down slightly.
Now there's a cool little car for motoring around the city. Highways? Probably not, and I imagine it doesn't go very fast with those tires.
Same. Two hrs is about my limit, exceptions made for Coppola, Scorsese, Kurosawa, maybe a couple of others.
Should have taken advice from "3-year Letterman" who was always warning people that it was a bad idea to finance their waterbed (couch).
I forgot about this part. Dude knows about rules and honor and fraternization and all kinds of other code of conduct things.

No idea, but oh my. There is a huge gulf between super slick but unbelievable salesperson and unprepared/don't know the material. She appears to be the latter.
I suppose you could substitute happy, pleased, content, thankful, respect etc but I try to avoid religious nuts who are going to judge the occasional 'pride" because as we see in the news every day, good chance they're a hypocrite and an overall awful person. ;-)
I think pride/vanity were categorized as the original and worst sin, that led to all others, b/c they were all about self, with no attribution or thanks to God. In modern use, no one bats an eye when someone says I'm proud of my kids, which almost always contains a few grains of "I did a good job."
And used to be (still is?) as a consumer automotive fuel in Argentina and Iran.
And grain drying, on farm and commercial, if no natural gas pipe available at premises.
Wow. "FSD" at fairly high speed, and a sharp turn approaching?
These people are nuts, terrible drivers, and they'll believe anything.
Oil and Nat Gas: a snip from a Mar 4 interview w/ Bessent, referencing a tanker insurance plan that's been in Ben Black's pocket for months. Feb 28 to today is ten days and THE SPICE DOES NOT FLOW.
Did Ben Black forget to empty his pockets and The Plan was destroyed by a washing machine?
