I started writing a book based around these haikus. Mainly to give me an outlet to process it all (all of the things in these haikus really happened), but also to see if it's any good :) Let's see if I finish it

The place in question was a seat on a lookout over our city. It's a small city, so it did feel very asleep when we looked out over it together. And all those other people down there?....Not part of our little world for two ;)
What I actually wrote to my love was
"We found the thing nobody finds, and we did everything we could with it"
But that doesn't quite work as a haiku/senryu :)
