No amount of spin from Trump and his lackeys can cover up the fact that Americans shelled out an extra $1.5 BILLION for gas this past week because of his disastrous war with Iran.

Trump fired the person in charge of reports when he didn’t like what the data showed. Why are we taking any government data at face value from this administration?
You know, one of the reasons only Congress is supposed to have the power to declare war is so they can debate questions like “Why?” “What are we trying to accomplish?” “What does victory look like?” “What are the risks?” “Do a majority of Americans actually want this?”
I love this so much.
A U.S. official said American military strikes on Iran were underway.
Remember when Congress authorized the use of force against Iran?
Me neither.
Any U.S. attack on Iran would violate U.S. and international law.
Israel strikes Iran
I imagine the U.S. won’t be far behind

One family is about to control CBS, CNN, HBO, and TikTok. They’ll buy Warner Brothers with $24 billion from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. To win over Trump, they canceled Colbert, blocked a 60 Minutes CECOT investigation, and blocked Talarico. Much more will follow. Block this rotten deal.
Celebrating the first president instead of the first speaker
Got it
These comments are extraordinary. The head of the CARE Team is saying that the police contract negotiated by Bruce Harrell and approved by council (under the police chief Katie Wilson retained) effectively prevents the team from responding to almost any of the calls they were created to respond to.
Does this mean we’ll be providing free healthcare to the people of Greenland before we provide it to U.S. citizens?
If the question is about presidents responsible for a slide toward lawless presidencies, I’d actually rank Ford above all the others you mentioned. By pardoning Nixon instead of ordering the DOJ to investigate, he established the idea that presidents get special treatment and are above the law.
It all depends how you define “upstanding” 🙃
“People are mad at how much energy and water our digital pollution machines use, but did you ever think about how much energy and water YOU use?” is an actual argument Sam Altman is making.

He finally died.

The federal agent who shot Marimar Martinez and joked about it has been placed on leave. This wouldn't have happened if everyone had accepted Homeland Security's blatant lies in this case.
A majority of cases will never be reported, either.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Alberto Castañeda Mondragón says his memory was so jumbled after a beating by immigration officers that he initially could not remember he had a daughter and still struggles to recall treasured moments like the night he taught her to dance. But the violence he endured last month in Minnesota while being detained is seared into his battered brain. He remembers Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents pulling him from a friend’s car on Jan. 8 outside a St. Paul shopping center and throwing him to the ground, handcuffing him, then punching him and striking his head with a steel baton. He remembers being dragged into an SUV and taken to a detention facility, where he said he was beaten again. He also remembers the emergency room and the intense pain from eight skull fractures and five life-threatening brain hemorrhages.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”
What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.
