The throughline with antivax, antimask, antipasteurization, antifluoride, antiSNAP, and the relentless antitrans efforts is the same: the cruelty is the point. They want people to suffer and die. I hope I live long enough to witness the prosecutions and trials of these evil sadistic bastards.

It's a key part of the genocide. It is intentional; the cruelty is the point. They go after our most vulnerable. No trans kids means no trans adults after all.
They'll say the "skyrocketing" rates of patient referrals substantially decreased and then use that as a point to argue that it was all a social contagion. All the trans youth just swept under the rug along with evidence of their suicides and self-harm. Just a completely bleak fucking system.
The new gender clinics they spun up after Tavistock are functionally useless. They're glorified conversion therapy centers because they offer no pathway towards medical transition. Once trans people stop going and the patient numbers decrease, they'll declare "mission accomplished."
They never ask the question of the evidence of harms from withholding treatment. Despite the fact they found no evidence of harms from HRT. Wihtholding treatment from a population like this is not a neutral act, it is an intervention in and of itself. One that has no basis in medicine.
In a competitive field where it is hard to stand out, to truly shine for national transphobia, the UK and NHS are absolutely knocking it out of the park. They looked and looked and only found 1 study on puberty blockers + oestrogen

This statement from Wes Streeting about ‘Martha’s Rule’ (listening to family members of patients who want a second opinion on their critical care) yet he completely IGNORES parents of trans kids! 😖

I felt like things were oddly quiet on the make things as bad as possible for trans people front recently, still the same old little island of hate 💔💔💔
The NHS has now stopped all medication - puberty blockers and hormones - for trans minors. For most, unless they get drugs from other sources, this means a lifetime, in an increasingly violent and transphobic society, unable to pass. Under Wes Streeting NHS policy is harm and death for trans people.
If you have been blessed with a trans child;
1. Keep them away from the NHS
2. Try and move abroad if you can
3. Be prepared to fight transphobic staff at school
4. Find other sources of hormones/medication. If you can, get a car loan to pay for them.
5. Protect them from all governmental agencies.
The NHS say this flows from the Cass Review but this is a distortion. Cass’ conclusions say the evidence for trans kids’ HRT is “inconsistent” but if you actually read the Review’s own evidence it shows positive outcomes! That’s 1 reason Cass was rejected by international medical authorities.

Meanwhile there is some small cause for optimism. The Green Party’s policy positions on trans healthcare are better and last I checked also include a trans-led public inquiry to hold people accountable.

Dear Shabana, I notice today that you referred to me in your speech on immigration at the IPPR think tank. You said: “A party leader should not be on the beaches of France encouraging people to make a perilous crossing on small boats.” I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised especially after the hateful Labour campaign in Gorton and Denton, but this is just the latest in a string of lies peddled by a discredited Government who intentionally fan the flames of racism and division. When I went to Calais, I was not there to encourage people to travel to the UK. I was there to see at first hand the suffering your Government and successive Governments have done in demonising migrants in a pathetic bid to pander to the base instincts of Reform and the flawed strategy of Morgan McSweeney. As you will know, if you even bothered to research my visit instead of taking Reform talking points, I was there to witness the brutality of families living in tents in freezing temperatures. I filled water tanks and picked up litter. What that visit did do is confirm my belief that if we are to smash the boat gangs and stop the boats, we need to offer safer and managed routes for migrants to come to this country. Showing compassion as a politician is not a crime. In fact, we need to see much more of it. It reminded me of a young MP who in October 2015 spent three days in Lesbos helping migrants fleeing war-torn Syria. She posted videos on X, talked about handing out water and croissants to refugees and food parcels. When she returned to the UK, she wrote a very moving piece in the New Statesman. She said “we have to work with our European partners and create new, safe, and legal routes for refugees to get to Europe.
