I came to BlueSky to fill my eyeballs with cartoonists and art, but I find myself wanting to connect a bit more with my medical compatriots as well. Here's lookin' at you, fellow nurses. :)

Saw this on Instagram and thought this applies to art too. Not only are genAI “artists” stealing, but they’re also cheating themselves out of the benefits of creating.

The joy of the process, the complex decisions, the pride.

Giving up creativity for productivity is exactly what capitalism wants.

I used to use blender. The last time I tried it, last year to create a part for 3D printing, it was nearly indecipherable.
