R.I.P. Writer Peter David.
Peter David seemed like a pretty cool guy, one thing I liked about his Star Trek New Frontier novels is that there was one character, Burgoyne 172, who was using what were effectively neopronouns (as a bigender species of alien) and this was back in 1997.
this embodied that progressive science fiction Star Trek was known for, and also normalized..at least for me...the idea of a person using different pronouns than he/him she/her. this was good for my own formation of coming to understand myself years later.
Yes, and I still do, my gorgeous Vulcan sex kitten....Now, time to see my favourite things...
*s/he ripped open her uniform*
(Yes)
*s/he carried her over to one of the biobeds still kissing and plopped her down on it when they were done, then s/he straddled her and leaned in to kiss her again while cupping her unusually large breasts for a Vulcan, sometimes s/he wondered if she used her medical knowledge to enhance herself*
*without another word, s/he swept her off her feet and planted a blistering kiss of her mouth*
I've missed you too....all of me has....
*s/he sauntered toward her seductively*
Then here I am!
*s/he suddenly appeared in the doorway, clad in hir tight Starfleet uniform, a very noticeable bulge down below*
Whatever...so...can I come....?
Maybe...I'm practically tearing through my uniform, baby...
Okay...is the infirmary clear?
I'll be waiting...
๐
Yes and I know yours is too, despite that oh so sexy Vulcan logic you like to present....
Well, I hope so...๐
Can't wait gorgeous! You know how hard it is for me to go without sex this long....
Then I shall, sexy...just tell me where to wait because...I've never been here before...
He's well, your treatments are working...so, shall I barge in there, loudly proclaim you're mine and make you extremely uncomfortable with my illogic?
Hi babe! Yeah, I just showed up, did you miss me?
