The article referred to seems to not be online yet. If the P30 of tGFR is 94%, this could be considered disappointing. An eGFRcr-cys with this level of accuracy is not uncommon. Comparing new mGFR methods with eGFRcr-cys is essential. This is what we did for CT-mGFR.

- Hybrid GFR, defined as the mean between CT-mGFR and eGFRcr-cys would be even more accurate.
These results open up new perspectives, particularly for patients with kidney cancer or urothelial carcinoma.
Measuring GFR using CT urography performed as part of routine care is possible not only in healthy individuals, but also in patients with CKD.
In this study, we demonstrate that:
- GFR measured by CT is more accurate than GFR estimated from creatinine, cystatin C, or both (eGFRcr-cys).

In addition to diabetes and male gender, we identified myosteatosis and low muscle mass as predisposing factors. Visceral and subcutaneous fat mass were not determinants of the low ratio.
We show that a low eGFR ratio is associated with the occurrence of major cardiovascular events, whether using CKD-EPI or EKFC equations.
The originality of this study also lies in our attempt to identify the determinants of such a low ratio by including body composition data in the analyses.
