Keep in mind that Pete Hegseth's reported Pentagon spending spree happened just months after Trump and Republicans made devastating cuts to the social safety net in exchange for huge tax cuts for the rich.

And defense spending may soon hit a record $1.5 trillion.

Priorities.

Watch this clip, despite how you might feel about Ezra Klein. This person was the National Security Advisor, and does not understand the most basic aspect of Congress' role in making war.

These people are dangerously, criminally incompetent.

Have you ever watched "The National Desk"? Maybe I'm getting that name wrong, but I see it at airports a lot and my gym has it on.

They do the same thing. You really need to pay attention because the language is almost so bland you can miss the obvious bias in the "reporting."

IF the Dawn of the Jedi movie is truly canceled, it’s likely because the Acolyte was canceled too.

When you complain about anything new, including jedi in an era prior to the core films, then they’re not going to want to explore a jedi prequel 25,000 years before the core films.

How China Learned to Love the Classics The Chinese Communist Party has embraced the study of Greek and Latinβ€”as, in some ways, an antidote to the modern West.

Love how the "Western Civilization" partisans are getting out "Western-civved" by the Chinese. Irony.

We started with restrain ICE. Then reform ICE, then landed squarely on abolish ICE.

But I’ve moved on to prosecute ICE y’all. Every last one even if it takes 20 years of trials.

For years on my old blog I published the names of servicemembers who died in Iraq & Afghanistan. No other outlets were.

These are the first 4 Americans to die in the Iran War.
Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35
Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42
Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39
Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20

No, Trump went to war because fascists need to be in a state of conflict at all times to justify their own worldview and the actions they will take against their own people.

Initial Focus of U.S. Strikes in Iran Is Military Targets

Here’s a good example of how the New York Times obfuscates war and its cost. Despite real-time images of a school beings bombed and some 40+ children being killed, here’s the β€œwell, it’s only military strikes” article.
