Ooof, ya. I remember playing there as a kid. Neat experience but it's muggy as hell for a rink. Good idea getting more breathable gear. Hope the surface isn't Slurpee consistency.

I've got a fencing jacket that has ventalation panels on the back (amazing tech for wearing a heavy quilt with extra padding). Similarly it makes me well aware of just how juicy I get while fencing.

So of course I'm the 'bully' for saying I won't attend if he's at the event. I'm being 'malicious' and not being inclusive. He's changed! He's got trans friends! None of the organisers have heard him be hurtful to anyone (apparently my report doesn't count) so they won't deal in rumor and gossip.

Didn't attend a local sword event. Why would I want to go when they invite the guy who chased away my then-partner with his misogyny, tried to recruit me into his MRA bullshit. I left hema for 10 years after that. He's got a long history of transphobic bs and other gross shit.

To be fair, it was a mistake to make a missile then strap a person to it and pretend to give it wings. The 'Widowmaker' was more lawn dart with a rocket then it was a well thought out aircraft.

One of the things of geekdom irritates me to no end: pointing out a character in one show plays another character in another show, then trying to make that fact some kind of in-universe cannon. Congrats, you figured out actors like to work, and good ones act in more than one thing. Brilliant.

Well, yeah. At this point they've pulled far enough right to satisfy a bunch of somewhat-less-than-brain-dead 'bertans who are fed up with PP. Wild to think, and disappointing actually, but still not going to matter.

It certainly is a weird thing to do, but also you're not in charge of other people spending their free time (and dollerydoos) and they can make the choice to watch (and spend) on the thing(s) you make. Let them find the balance that works for them and trust you'll find your own.
