Fantastic to be on the Board of an organization that provides so many supports for youth & families. Such great work through the Victoria Youth Empowerment Society!
We spend a lot of time with our Admin partners, sometimes more than w/ our own families. We even start dressing alike! π Itβs a role that can be isolating, so a connection w/ your team is incredibly important. Proud of my VP Sonja in her 1st yr in the role. Steep learning curve & she is rocking it!
Grateful for the longer days that allow me to hike after work. #naturetherapy

The BCPVPA & our members are grateful to have supported the development of these critical Ministry guidelines bit.ly/RacismResponse that help BC educators in addressing common issues of racial harm in schools & in understanding the impact of incidents of hate on our communities. #edusky
Grateful for spring & the return of longer days & warmer weather! #westcoast
With a @bluesky feed filled with seemingly never ending concerning updates from my neighbours to the south, grateful for the freedoms and inclusivity of my school district, my province & my country. Not something that we can take for granted or become complacent about. π¨π¦π
Thanks for sharing your story Tod and for providing some light amidst the dark!

A great day with Esquimalt Fire Fighters Charitable Foundation donating $65,000 towards our new turf field at Esquimalt High School. Esquimalt Ribfest Committee & this Foundation have now contributed an incredible $534,000 towards this project. Amazing to have this support from community.

Grateful to be part of a school community where kindness, inclusivity and acceptance is the norm every day, not just on Pink Shirt Day. #pinkshirtday #bekindalways π
A good reminder.
To be effective leaders, we need to establish a sustainable balance for ourselves in order to support others.
