I also ran into a post recently that asked, “Have you also thought about the best case scenario?” and that is also actively changing my life. I’m not letting myself mentally get stuck in thought compulsions without also thinking of the best case scenario.

A week into replacing my negative self talk compulsion with deep breaths and, to no one’s surprise, it is helping a lot. Hopefully this results in taking a reflexive deep breath when faced with any anxiety.
