If you don't count publishers that mainly focus on the digital-only indie/PC space, it's like maybe 4 big ones.

I was able to check out Stupid Never Dies via a presentation by developer GPTrack50, a new studio led by former Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi. Seems real neat, but I saw it before news broke that NetEase Games is about to cut funding for Nagoshi Studio & GPTrack50 is in that same boat.

Seems like multiple Steam pages for Falcom will continue. Kyoto Xanadu's page is up which confirms a July 16 release, but it's for the separate Clouded Leopard release. This release does include JP audio & text, too. English distributor has yet to be revealed. store.steampowered.com/app/4449410/...

A "screenshot"* of Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. There is an overwhelming amount of post processing applied to the image, with high resolution motion blur and shadows being cast by objects. All the humans visible in the image are unnervingly high-res, especially the archer who is standing off in the distance, appearing to be a full-res render scaled down as opposed to being rendered distantly. The players hand: identified as an Undead Mage Level 1, is held out and is casting photoshop-ass looking lighting bolts. picking up a games magazine in the mid 2000s means you were being treated to approximately 300 images just like this one every month, in between a page of adverts for phone sex hotlines and fawlty towers ringtones
POV: they have put you in “the hole”
You're barely paying translators and editors and letterers to work on books you've crowdfunded, and you're "income-haring" with podcast and blog marketing.
This is a very predatory business model. I really hope you rethink all of this.
