I don't think anyone will be surprised if he wins the seat but at least it might help to ensure that his repulsive views will get maximum publicity. It might also drag Labour away from their apparent commitment to policies which seem designed specifically to alienate potential voters.

PS initially it was for one day a week at Vodafone. Flexible working has many benefits and, like four day weeks (also adopted by profit making businesses of the kind Farage has no understanding of) has been shown to improve productivity.
Perhaps he'd like to explain that to our major local employer, Vodafone who have, for years, encouraged those who can to work from home. This increased during and after the pandemic saving them £millions on office costs. Many other companies do the same.
