One thing that I hope is a big focus for #NintendoSwitch2 is a vastly improved online experience. I want it to be easier to connect with friends online, system-wide party chat, a stronger network infrastructure, and a fun social app to connect with others who play similar games to make new friends 🙏🏾
A bit underwhelming of a reveal, but that could be thanks to all of the recent leaks that were pretty accurate. Regardless, looking forward to learning more about the next generation of Switch and seeing the games!!

Agreed. Which is probably why Persona 5 was so beloved too. Final Fantasy has such a cool world / magic lore that this could actually fit well in a school setting.

I definitely played my Switch a bit less this year, but still had a great time with games like Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Super Mario Party: Jamboree. With the imminent announcement of the Switch 2, I’m eager for 2025 to be the year of Nintendo!

Runner-up: Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Now this was a surprise for me. I did NOT expect to enjoy this game as much as I did. Bringing the creativity of the last two 3D Zelda games into a 2.5D experience was done ingeniously. Exploring dungeons and the open world any way you want was so fun!
With #TheGameAwards happening tonight, I figured I’d add my take for Game of the Year: AstroBot! I absolutely loved every minute of it. There was so much fun and creativity added to every level. You can feel Nintendo’s decades of influence all throughout. Games like these are why I LOVE gaming!
