Ceasefires are not peace, nor are they binding. Putin knows this all too well. He has violated every one of them.

Trump's administration published a list of his 50 "achievements", where he claims to be a genius peacemaker - this is how he envisions himself I believe.

This won’t get a headline, but JD Vance stammered when Zelenskyy challenged him about not having been to Ukraine yet saying what their problems are.

Ugh... I hope at least a portion of Trump voters feel that way... Is there a chance some of them realize what they have unleashed?

Watching this from Ukraine is extremely unnerving. Will that brawl in the Oval office make things even worse for us?

The only point of me writing this here is this: to make sure people outside Ukraine realize that this is as bad and evil as it sounds. It's not only Zelensky who is furious with Trump's deal. I am too. All Ukrainians are. This should not become a reality. There are other ways to stop this war.

But Trump himself is a ridiculous man, so no surprise here. What is truly disappointing is how the Republicans are afraid to challenge him. I don't believe this is simply his way to wake up Europe, like some commentators suggest. No, he is just a selfish greedy man who doesn't care about suffering.

I know Trump doesn't know a damn thing about what it's like to survive this. So trying to shove his "peace deal" down Ukraine's throat is ridiculous. Making Ukraine, not Russia, pay for all the misery and destruction is ridiculous. Not giving Ukraine any security guarantees is ridiculous.

Even though I got used to it, and Kyiv has become a much safer place, it is still hard and scary. I still hear and see explosions from my window. EVERY NIGHT, almost non-stop.
