Rosalía and Björk. Very glad I had a peek at the #BRITs. More of that please.

Ooof I feel old.
One half of the picture has a clear road and the other half a pavement covered in ice.
I know we don't get snow/icy conditions here very often but I'm very weary of the prioritisation of roads. It is extraordinarily difficult to walk anywhere and dangerous to try to walk in the road instead. So, do I risk breaking bones on sheet ice? Or risk getting hit by crap bham drivers? 🤔
I wouldn't recommend going outside now. 🌧️
I know someone who went to state school, interviewed at Cambridge and had a similar epiphany. They gave handouts at and she looked after hers all day as she thought she needed to hand it back at the end (i.e. she wasn't used to being given 'free' resources in this way).
Solid choices (and a nice circular moment from MTV music).
Transport hub pricing so it's probably inflated. It's still far too early for anything Easter.
Cadbury Mini Eggs for sale in a shop. At least 3 months too early!
It's 30 December...
A still from the 1960s animated version of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas by Dr Seuss
Only the OG Grinch happens in this household on Christmas Eve.
Ha! I did something similar last time I saw my mum. 😂
And the picture is from Sainsbury's.
!! (I paid way less than this for The Cure - and VIP tickets as well)
Apparently people are once again asking who's at fault here. We can improve road safety dramatically by revoking the driver's licence of everyone who thinks it's the cyclist's fault.
Isn't this lovely (ALT text in the comments if anyone needs that).
A bluesky message celebrating England cricket success in The Ashes followed by another expressing disappointment in England's performance.
What a difference a day makes. 😂 #TheAshes
Needless to say it blew my mind a bit as a kid and was very influential for me on many levels.
Rewatching the OG Twin Peaks for the 1st time in about 10 years. It still amazes me this was aired in prime time on a mainstream US TV network - and that I watched this at the time as a young teen.
It really shouldn't be 16c in London in November. But it is.
Very sad news. I have many happy memories of Optimo nights at the Sub Club. Optimo 20 and Ultra Goth were also superb. RIP. mixmag.net/read/optimo-...
Gravestones under the trees at Key Hill Cemetery in Birmingham UK.
Fun tour of Key Hill Cemetery this afternoon as part of #BHeritageWeek despite the weather. A mini history of England in there. Lots of important industrialists, the world's 1st female journalist and Joseph Chamberlain in one of the country's earliest non-conformist cemeteries (it's listed).
When I was small I thought "Me Israelites" was "The Hills Are Alive"

I have had similar thoughts to this person since I saw the rebrand late yesterday. I'm genuinely curious about the research behind the creative concept and how it was tested as the result is a bit jarring to me (imho).
Robert Smith and Olivia Rodrigo singing and playing guitars on the Pyramid Stage.
A Olivia Rodrigo and Robert Smith duet was not on my #Glastonbury bingo card.
Neil Young playing an acoustic guitar on thr Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
Neil Young is nearly 80 and still has it. Amazing set so far. #Glastonbury
I've always been a bit meh about Wet Leg but I'm enjoying their #Glastonbury set so far. Maybe they're one of those bands (like Wolf Eyes imo) who are better live.
Tabby cat on a table with house plants on
Cat and human with a good fringe
Two cats looking out the window
Two tabby cats on the back rest of a brown sofa
One of my cats hasn’t been seen all day - don’t quite want to declare her missing - but it is very unlike her. She’s a softie and comes as a pair so it is strange she’s not here! If you’re around the Hazelwell Pub area of Stirchley please keep a look out.
They're basically the Canadian version of the UK Monster Raving Loony Party.
Co-sign. I did a postal vote from abroad and it was all a very straightforward experience. Thanks to all the Elections Canada staff for making it happen.
