Rebuttal: in Korea they have the most comfortable seating evAr, including recliners, and no one uses their phones in theaters (or verrrrrrrrrrrrry rarely) and it is a pretty safe space

#Watched A Day in the Life of Willie Faust, or Death on the Installment Plan (1972) - Fanaka’s UCLA film school experimental short is hard to find bc of the music - so much Sanders/Mayfield/Hayes/Beatles - but worth digging up, you can already see his fascination with blaxploitation and showmanship.
I would love to do a podcast with you on this topic.
