🇬🇧 Appelfeld writes about the vulnerability of children in contexts war, he addresses the adaptation of refugees to life in a new country and he describes the experience of individuals belonging to diasporic populations who, victims of persecution, will never be able to return to their roots.

A obra de Appelfeld dialoga intensamente com o nosso tempo e mereceria ser mais amplamente divulgada no Brasil. Trata-se de um escritor de primeira grandeza, para quem nada do que é humano permanece estranho.
