Those suggestions would help teach new players to think about search and draw as basic features common to most decks, and to ensure they build their decks with an appropriate supply. Too many competing ideas (Okidogi) or thinking too much about the best case scenario (Savatore) is a common mistake
Just because the old cards rotate doesn't mean the deck doesn't need draw support and PokΓ©mon search anymore. We should be suggesting cards like Lillie's Determination, Morty's Conviction, and Iris's Fighting Spirit in place of the draw supporters; and PokΓ©Pad or Brock's Scouting for Nest Ball.
