Akoryrr is a flawed character and I love studying him. I think this particular encounter was a big step in his development because it helped show him that part of loving others means loving himself. 3/3

It frustrated Akoryrr at first because if they’d let him do it, there wouldn’t be the risk of combat. But after all is said and done, he ended up being grateful. He is not used to thinking about himself in the long term, and he knows that they’d saved him a lot of suffering. 2/3
