If there has been a benefit to the travails I've experienced over the past few months, it's the realization that no one is immune to depression, anxiety and other mental health related issues.

So fired up to be moving back to Washington. Purchased a lot in Sequim with Olympic Mountain views.

Home should be ready in late summer or early fall.

Will miss family and friends in Texas but very little else, especially the allergies and MAGA infestation.

The absolute worst part of living in Texas has nothing to do with the excessive heat or being in allergy Hell.

Rather it's the excessive bombardment of pro MAGA candidate ads every time I turn on the TV to watch sports.

The only criteria I look for in any individual is being a decent human.

Rough 2 days. Found out last night a close childhood friend passed away from cancer.

Today learned that a close friend and workout colleague from my Hebron days died from injuries sustained from being hit by a car while riding his bike.

Both gone too soon. Hug your loved ones.
