The State Department says do not travel to Haiti due to kidnapping, crime, terrorist activity, civil unrest, and limited health care.
Our state department doesn't recommend traveling there
the important thing i think is that they get comfortable now with living in federal facilities
8/ Allergy specialist Dr. Zach Rubin, @rubinallergy.bsky.social, shared a few tips with us last year:
πΉ Rinse your nose regularly with saline (like brushing your teeth)
πΉ Choose second-generation antihistamines like Zyrtec instead of Benadryl, which tends to have more side effects
NEW: We just published a deep dive into just how much billionaires are now dominating U.S. politics.
We found 300 billionaire families accounted for 19% of federal donations in 2024. The deluge was even larger in many state and local races.

Youβve got to be kidding me. President Bone Spurs and his incompetent White House are floating the idea of sending other peopleβs sons, daughters, moms and dads to fight and die in a ground war with Iran.
He swore he wouldnβt do this. He lied.
Just another normal morning where the President of the United States shares completely false claims from a conspiracy theory site. Iβve confirmed with election officials in Maricopa County that this is 100% BS.
Your Honor, we would like to introduce this clip as Exhibit #1.
Just thinking about what we could do with a billion dollars a day that doesnβt include bombing people.
1/ Man, The Pitt is so good!
I was thrilled to see they decided to bring back the measles plot from season one because itβs so relevant right now. Weβre on the brink of losing our measles elimination status, yet I still hear people brush off measles like itβs no big deal.

He probably would have received the old Zostavax vaccine prior to 2017, then was subsequently given the two dose Shingrix vaccine when it became available. No booster is available for Shingrix. A friend who was fully vaccinated got shingles at age 78 -- bummer!
The vaccine wears off and doesn't work as well as you age: two-dose shingles vaccine was 97% effective in adults age 50 to 69. In those 70 and older, 91% effective. In adults with weakened immune systems, Shingrix was 68% to 91%.
The president didn't bother to make the case for war in a marathon State of the Union address and then he fucked off to his sweaty gilded country club so he could literally phone in an unconstitutional war.
Every single Democrat needs to be screaming about this at full volume.
Just want to note that 3am in Washington is like 11:30am in Tehran. The American people are the ones he snuck up on in the dead of night to conduct this illegal attack, not the purported enemy.
Wouldn't want a little war to get in the way of a golf weekend.
So theyβre going to cripple healthcare for the poor in Minnesota to make an example of the state. The warning is βdonβt resist.β
Overnight this aircraft completed its deportation trip to India. The migrant passengers were likely shackled for at least 59 hours.
The reason we're here is that tens of millions of people will punch a hole in a wall if they hear someone used food stamps to buy soda but they're fine if the right-wing podcaster turned fbi director uses his taxpayer funded private jet to go party whenever he feels like it bsky.app/profile/thed...
Concerned about ICE's $45 billion plan to convert warehouses into immigration detention centers? This is what they'll look like inside. From ICE's plan for the Social Circle, GA facility. Each little dot: a person. www.socialcirclega.gov/home/showpub...
Insanity. They are laughing at us.
Bloomberg says we've spent $3B on Trump's invasion of Venezuela.
Which is 6X more than the cancer, Alzheimer, diabetes, and heart disease cures they've cut to pay for it.

YES. That Park City bobsled ride was one of the most frightening things I've ever done! If you would have offered another ride down the track at no charge, I'd have turned you down.
pretty stunning chart
NEW: Weβre publishing a full list of the 373 federal judges who have ruled against ICEβs mass detention policy and the 28 who have endorsed it β as well as links to key rulings by each.
Trump appointees have split 44 against/ 20 for the policy.

Justice isnβt ICE leaving Minnesota.
Justice is ICE being held accountable for murdering Americans.
The flu and pneumonia kill over 45,000 people a year. Moderna developed a new mRNA flu vaccine for people 50 and older--who are most at risk. Prasad, unilaterally, against the recommendation of experts within the agency, denied Moderna's appplication. www.statnews.com/2026/02/11/m...
We now have confirmation that the Social Circle warehouse cost ICE $130 million, bringing the total spent on warehouses to $714 million. ICE is also reportedly planning on buying a second warehouse in Oakwood, GA and is finalizing the sale now.
Billions more will be spent on retrofitting/staffing.
