Not digging the @amazon studio show. Much better when it was on the field. @nfl

I want politics to be about a better everyday life.

Here's what that can look like:

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

You are not powerless, and he is not unstoppable. Look at, and learn from, the funding freeze and how quickly he was forced to surrender.

This is fighting fire with fire, stop playing by the old rules. Republicans don't care.

Thanks for the info, now what's your plan? You're in Congress, you're the check in 'checks and balances'.

Just sitting here thinking about those “price of eggs” Trump voters who are gonna get a multimillionaire Treasury Secretary who supports giving even more tax cuts to the super rich but does not support increasing the federal minimum wage.

Great job.
Bravo.

You fucking idiots.

Don't assume maximalist outcomes for the Trump administration. That's a form of psychological surrender. We should attempt to exploit every stumble, failure, and misstep, and there will be stumbles, failures, and missteps.

I never got a recommendation for this even though I follow you on YT. Yet it tries to get me to watch Sage Steel interviewing Dave Portnoy. 😐

I’ve been on Twitter (now X) since 2011. I forgot what it feels like to be excited to scroll through my replies and engage with folks until now. I guess I had Stockholm syndrome.

Thank you, everyone.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

Freddy Mercury died of AIDS 33 years ago today. With modern medical technology, he likely would have lived. Never forget how much progress against major infectious disease has been made in a short time. We are at risk now of rolling back much of that progress.

We’re not going back.

We left X and joined Bluesky because those against our parks said, “If you don’t like it, leave.” So we did. And now they’re saying, “No, come back so we can say mean things to you—it makes us feel important.”

Currently the only reason I still have a twitter account is to view sports tweets.

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me.

I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

This is how disinformation is fostered.

What sucks is she has a few MAJOR ones to promote, including the $25k for first time homebuyers, $6k for first time parents, and banning grocery gouging. Very tangible and bite-sized policies to reiterate during the campaign.
