Berman: For Teams 15 and 16, we had a very specific strategy, primarily driven by our interest in having purpose-built infrastructure in place so that we could be in a position to control our business and make a schedule. In 2026, they’re going to be able to begin to build a fan base that, when their new buildings are ready, is going to make it so they can really hit the ground running. I’m incredibly impressed by what Boston has accomplished with their sponsorship business and leaning into culture with their announcement that New Kids on the Block are going to be playing at halftime of their opener at Gillette [Stadium] on the 14th.
Boston's sponsor for their gameday sensory room is Collegium Pharmaceutical, who in 2021 settled with almost 30 states and cities over claims of misleading physicians about the addictive dangers of their opioid Xtampza.

I think this story is a really good example for people to look at when it comes to understanding bias at NYT. It's not that the reporter, Dana Rubinstein, says anything outright false. But the framing, word choices, etc., add up to an unprofessional and biased account.
seems like a strange thing to lose track of, but what do I know

When I joined as the head engineer of the Torment Nexus project, it was to work on fascinating technical problems and make the world a better place along the way. I am appalled to discover that the Torment Nexus would be used this way and, now that my options have vested, will be leaving the project
By free Palestine we mean stop bombing them. By free Iran they mean bomb them.
It's especially delightful that he couldn't be in court to receive news of yet another legal defeat because he was in custody in connection with an assault for which he has just been charged.

Thought I was safe from remembering the reality we're living in with my earphones in and Viking Death March shuffled on. Aspirational song.
I really should go to bed but I've been having too much of an enjoyable time shuffling through my music library for the last four hours.
My reticence to get up has absolutely nothing to do with the fact I did laundry earlier and have yet to make the bed
reminded of my most dad coded political opinion which is that we need a universal Naps and Lil Snacks For All program
The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.
thinking about how this guy has had dozens of teammates who are hardcore Trump supporters
The situation in Lebanon is truly bleak, Israel effectively occupying the south, regular strikes into civilian areas of Beirut, half a million people displaced and even if the strikes on Iran slow down or cease this is likely to persist. It's horrific the news continues to fail like this.
As an IR professor, it's depressing that this is outperforming all others as the best theory of US foreign policy
The head coach of Iraq’s men’s football team, Graham Arnold, has issued an urgent plea to FIFA to delay his team’s intercontinental qualifier for the World Cup because of disruptions caused by the escalating Israeli-United States war on Iran. Iraq face major logistical issues before a winner-takes-all playoff against either Suriname or Bolivia, scheduled for March 31 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Iraq is begging FIFA to postpone its World Cup qualifier because its air space is closed due to the US-Israeli illegal war on Iran.
It boggles the mind. The outcome of this tournament literally shaped by genocidal conflict and the perpetrators are rewarded with fewer competitors.
Wait in return for WHAT?
A picture of Marco Rubio shoes that are too large for him
I’m a grown man who works for the president of the United States who is afraid to not wear the shoes he bought me that do not fit
Whenever any business, service, application, whatever talks about "scaling," what you should hear is "make money at the expense of the user experience." That's what it means. No one has ever "scaled" anything without making the user experience worse.
Anyway, saw Ray O’Leary, funny, would recommend, especially if you live in Sheffield

Sports bans aren't the destination, they're the foundation. Once you have a law that codifies trans girls as "male" for purposes of athletic competition, you have a precedent. And that precedent gets cited in the next case. And the one after that. Bathrooms. Passports. Employment.
