They glare at me when I show up in my 80s junk, the diesel Lincoln with the bad paint is especially hated. The fact that its probably more rare than anything else at most shows doesn't count.

Last time I bought something was like 5 messages and then I was on a plane to Florida 2 weeks later.
100% I also figure you get what you give. If i need someone's help for whatever reason, treating them badly is probably not going to make them inclined to go out of their way.
Are they a problem for dogs?
I basically don't go to car shows because boomers with Camaros and Chevelles and all the other usual suspects. Its boring.
Will never understand people who treat any service worker badly. Then again these are the same people that complain about bad experiences everywhere without understanding the connection
few things annoy me more than when I answer a question and someone pastes some AI BS back at me.
Just Jeep things?
ah, a subject I know far less about than AM radio stations from the 1930s.
Are we talking current 50KW iteration of WLW or 1930s 500KW?
LOL, its #1 now. Seriously?!
Apparently Melania is "#6 in the US". I'm sort of curious how bad #7 is.
Heh, I forgot dude just went to chill with ET after the wife took the kids. Thats like the ultimate absent dad flex.
I had forgotten how chaotic this movie is. The family scenes where everyone is just screaming at each other incoherently is probably more accurate than any other portrayal of average life than any other movie
NEC apparently still allows it but it depends on the fittings and installation. Having dealt with lots of EMT with loose connections i don't trust it as a good ground
Nothing like a mix of random nonsense for entertainment. Close Encounters on Laserdisc on an LCD with vacuum tubes for audio.
I'm still a paper holdout, I hate lugging crap around and I fear leaving it by accident. I just wish my local Library was better funded, the book selection is super limited
glad to be done with that job. I've had enough garbage raining out of drop ceilings to last me a while.
Glad I got the lights physically installed before messing with the wiring. That was the hard part, now i just have 3 splices to make and this project is done. Taking a break from the ladder for a few.
is that an original of Hunky Dory ?
3.29 for regular, 4.59 for diesel. Mark VII gets 17.2 MPG, the Thats 19 cents per mile for the Mark VII assuming 17.2 mpg and 17 cents per mile for the Continental assuming 27 mpg. So I guess the diesel is still slightly cheaper but just barely.
I guess I'm going to have to see what current fuel pricing is like and do the math to figure out if the diesel is still cheaper than the gas car per mile. Sad when a Ford V8 may be the economical option over a 2.4L turbo diesel.
I have met many people who whine that ST has "gone woke" without realizing how diverse that cast was for 1966, or really any of the social themes that have popped up regularly since then.
these are the same people who will gleefully tell you that your tax money is completely used to pay for immigrants to have children, women to have abortions, and lazy people to get food stamps.
just sent some feedback to someone I bought a PCB from about a design issue, and said I'd just modify it to work. I wonder if he's going to get nasty about it because I dared to point out a flaw.
Still mad that the big local wind project got canned after spending 600M because of NIMBY types. I'd be less mad if it hadn't cost money but it would have been a big benefit to local economy besides the power generation
Those green energy projects suddenly look more appealing don't they?
Its Friday, and I've done more in the last 2 hours than I felt like doing all day, and i still have the stuff that was actually on my plate to do.
We built an artificial island out of dredge spoils, then put 3 reactors on it.
I do this with sink aerators.
