100 years ago today in Soho, London John Logie Baird gave the first public demonstration of real television images. A mechanical system with 5fps and 30 lines. The refined system eventually co-started BBC TV in 1936 before being replaced by the 405-line Marconi-EMI system after a few months.

Had a random thought for a video game setting. Silent Hill-esque, complete with fog, but set in an accurate representation of the Welsh Valleys. Streets lined with those distinctive terraced houses, some lights are on in them but no people as we walk through the foggy streets.
