This seems like an ideal dream. You get the pleasure of eating all those cookies and donβt have to deal with the stomach ache after.

Update on the first bike commute of the season. After a season of being closed, my favorite bridge over the Mississippi River is open! The Dinkytown Greenway Bridge (aka Bridge 9). Isnβt that view just gorgeous?
First bike/bus commute of the season on @metrotransitmn.bsky.social! Iβm a bit of a fair-weather bike commuter especially with dark and ice. But new season is here! And I canβt help note it coincides with the onset of $100/barrel oil prices.
Same thing over here⦠a few handfuls mini eggs. So so good. They pair nicely with a bubbly water.
Same thing happened to me not being able to sleep and finding this. Iβve been extra worried about this for a few days. And here it is. And worse than I imagined
Me too! I hope we find something to work on together in the future. Even if it is just sharing virtual space to help get projects done!
Iβve had the honor & pleasure of working with Ashley. So grateful she is bringing her skill & wisdom to this moment in this way. Iβm tempted to say her magic, but that isnβt right. She is a talented person who loves her community and stepped up. It feels like magic, but we can all do it in some way.
Oh manβ¦ this hits hard. Sending strength and patience. And perhaps dark humor, if it is helpful. As a sandwich generation elder caregiver who has navigated through more than my familyβs fair share of dementia (and continue to do so!)β¦ solidarity.
My neighborhood doesnβt get great bus service. The 9 is the only one, and it only comes every half hour. So, catching it with after just a 2-minute wait felt like a winter storm miracle. Hurray for transit!
The twin cities snowstorm was more than i expected! So I last-minute decided to walk/train/bus home from St Paul to Mpls. And Iβve had the best @metrotransitmn.bsky.social experience. The trip advisors on the green line dealt respectfully w/ someone smoking on train. And I caught the 9 bus quickly!
A strong, free, independent press is so important to the civic fabric that makes Minnesota who we are. Grateful for all the folks who do this essential work and proud to contribute to you all.
As a Minneapolis residentβ¦ thank you for stretching yourself like this. Our community needs it. π
Bring all the detained children home to Minnesota. And stop detaining children. It is horrifying that this is happening. The educators working so hard to hold their school communities together and sound the alarm for all of us to act are heroes. These educators are heroes who protect kids.
Parents are afraid to send their kids to school, classrooms sit half-empty, children are being taken to detention facilities. Weβve crossed a line.
I stood with education leaders to discuss the growing harm federal actions are causing to children, families, and our schools.
Some very good news. And we keep going. We need to keep going to bring more home and stop more from being taken.
I love Mpls. My kid has a small list of safe foods including a v. specific order from our neighborhood pizza shop. Today, 5 mins after ordering, I got a call from them confirming it was right. It wasnβt! The guy making it recognized the order & that it wasnβt right. So, he checked. Dinner saved! π₯Ί
The horrors are happening across the state. Not just in Minneapolis or the Twin Cities metro.
More children being detained from the Columbia Heights school district. Sickening. I am so angry at the trauma being experience by these kids, their family, and our community. ICE out. www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...
There isnβt any indication that immigration activity has changed in Minneapolis. In fact, this afternoon, federal immigration agents began staging at Holy Rosary Catholic Church located in East Phillips. This activity is disgraceful and creates an unsafe environment for our neighbors. 1/
Minnesota strong. Grateful for our congresswoman. And grateful sheβs okay.
Love you Chicago! My home for 4 years. Thank you for the support. πͺβ€οΈ
Thank you for making it! I have sent it to multiple friends/families who live out of state and are asking for a trusted important place to give. So many want to help. It is so helpful to have a trusted resource to just send to them.
Calling the residents of Minnesota who have been shown documenting or attempting to witness ICE activities in our midst βprotestingβ is inaccurate. ICE is ubiquitous. We donβt go to ICE, we see it in our daily lives. Secondly, legal observing is our only recourse to defend ourselves. ππ»
An orange candle in a glass jar is lit in the dark. The light of a bookstore shines in the background, with the silhouettes of people in between.
Gathered with my neighbors to to light a candle and sing for Alex, for our neighbors in fear, for each other. Courage is not absence of fear. It is feeling fear and showing up anyway.
Join Light up the Night tonight, not a mass gathering in any one place but to get people out of their houses with candles and flashlights in every neighborhood at 7:00. Please spread the word.
He was a nurse and a union member. π
sitting here trying to think why this is so heavy on my heart.
but. my grandparents survived a genocide that most people donβt know about, that many deny.
we have a duty to bear witness and tell the history. we are future ancestors. we have to know the story.
I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening.
The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.
Oh no. My heart breaks for this person shot and our whole community. ICE out
Be aware of black ice this morning Twin Cities people. I saw a dozen turned around and smashed up cars on a mile stretch of freeway between downtown Minneapolis and my neighborhood. I hope everyone is okay.
