Yes - the only way that he would do this is if he knew they wouldn’t be released. This Clinton thing - interestingly timed - now ensures an ‘active investigation’ so even if they vote to release, they can’t release them. Indefinitely. There will always be an active investigation going forward.
Couldn’t agree more -this is the blueprint. But don’t just be complacent to get control back - put in real guardrails - including SCOTUS and bring back ethics - with enforcement. Then new strict campaign finance rules - that is the start. Then maybe we can salvage this.

Starting to wonder - with all the cuts that the current administration is making - what are my taxes actually even being used for? Apparently not civil protections - not infrastructure, not helping others, not science, not health.... military only? Subsidies for corporations? For what?
They are learning that the real power of the purse is with consumers - and that consumerism is not driven by the 31% who voted them in….go ahead - keep pissing off the middle class. See what happens to your paper billions in shares…
Notice that whenever there is something that Trump doesn’t want you to notice, he releases something outrageous to troll you. Don’t look at the Medicaid cuts - look at King Trump and his Gaza Paradise. It is an obvious play. Don’t fall for it - look at what he doesn’t want you to see….

Osteopathic physician in the US (and other countries). Same licensing as MD, same essential functions (I am a hospitalist) - reciprocal in many countries - but not so much in Ireland. I believe one osteopathic physician is practicing medicine in Ireland - it is case by case review.
I was under the impression that Florida is the only state that follows the rules imposed in the state where the felony occurred - in New York, felons can't vote while incarcerated - but can once released. Is there something that supercedes this?
Very glad I did this about 30 years ago. I have my irish passport - my kids are now all dual citizens and have their passports - if Ireland every grants DO's full practice privileges (I think only one has been granted to date) - I may even practice over there someday
Brutal. We are also expected to be 24/7 healthcare workers - but good luck getting commercial HELL insurance to approve anything - including post-acute care - from noon on Friday till Tuesday AM.... And forget anything if you need to do a P2P....

They have done a great job of inducing tribalism and ‘MAGA vs Libs’ to distract from the real battle - which is ultra-rich vs everyone else. If the middle class ever sees it and the tribes shift - they can’t retain power. Hence all the distractions and chaos….
