hello , i’m alive . i’m doing fine at my job , still treading water in life i guess right now but it’ll be fine .

in a game like bg3 versus a dnd campaign also the charisma for convos felt like a double edged sword too cause it eventually just became okay i can basically talk certain folks into/out of anything , except parts of the game where clearly they went “okay we can’t let you have that much power”

even when i did get some cool bard spells a lot of it is still running support for other players and them often doing something that immediately invalidated what i did , like needing to hit /kill an enemy i had hypnotized/dominated/ held

As someone who played through as bard in a group playthrough i can say there isn’t anything that doesn’t inevitably amount to “don’t play bard / don’t just play bard” like i had fun but mostly cause i picked up eldritch blast from warlock and eventually a staff that let me do sorcerer spells
