Has its ups and downs of course, any show this long will, but overall, it's really good so far! Its themes are well executed once it gets rolling.

Playing through Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance again for the first time in ages and it continues to be goated. In the top 3 FEs imo. Tons of political themes, heavy resource management, unforgiving tactical gameplay, travel logistics. PoR has it all. Its one weakness is the supports are kinda jank.
Cosmic Princess Kaguya was really fun. Cute story, fun characters, boppin songs, and BEAUTIFUL animation! Had a couple neat surprises tossed in there. It's kind of a fever dream (complimentary). Solid B+ movie. Not life changing, but definitely worth a second watch sometime!

Having now seen it, it's pretty clear to me that One Piece doesn't really start until ep 80 ish. Drum Island is where the thematic material of the show finally crystallizes. You can't really skip the early stuff since it provides all the context, but the political stories post 80 are way more fun

Ep 129 had me *ugly crying* duuuude. The Alabasta Arc was so good! Stakes and drama! Serious tone with moments of levity! Foreshadowing and payoffs!
No one fucking told me One Piece was like, actually really good and pretty artistic with like, some subtlety and grace.
None of that shit is marked with a quest marker to blindly follow. You have to *know it*. You have to *learn it*. You have to *live it*. This is what makes Morrowind still great to this day. It's such a well realized fantasy world with cultures and histories and fucking public transit.
